Delicious poached salmon in downtown San Jose!

Amazing French food, decent enough service (even with some French arrogance of one waiter...). Yes its more expensive than the usual San Jose restaurants but well worth it, this is a fine dining place with prices still cheaper than fine dining in most US/European cities.

Located in the downtown area of San Jose is a classic Victorian style mansion hotel where one exquisite dining can be experienced. Food is excellent... meant to be savoured and satiety satisfied. The service is outstanding with superb friendly bilingual waiters. Simply Romantic. Worth a few more extra extra bucks but overall, the experience is worth it.

Inventive menu with products of quality. Test the duck : it is the best one I've never eaten... The restaurant is situated in an old building; the place is quite nice and traditional. Prices are not so expensive for this kind of food. A nice choice of wines. The only negative point concerns the service ..quite slow and quite cold...... More

Attached to hotel. Most of restaurant is replica but matches original. Sit in courtyard. Fountain and beautiful stained glass. Very good service with a bit of wit. Great soup, beef. Try tagliatelli with pork.

As my title indicates, I have visited this restaurant on three occasions, twice for business and once for my wedding anniversary. The ambience is classy and the service was good on all three occasions. My first visit was quite a good one and I enjoyed in particular the pejibaye soup! Loved it. The second time was not so good for... More

Having eaten in this restaurant in our visit last year, we knew we had to return this time, and stayed in the hotel just to make sure. Great and varied French menu - I had the duck, my wife the lamb, preceded by the pate. All beautifully prepared and presented, and just to our taste (we like our meat slightly... More

While the food descriptions are mouth watering the food is bland. Wine list is very limited and the whole meal is incredibly expensive.

When we arrived at 5pm, it was almost empty so we roamed around and took pictures. We could easily be in Italy instead of San Jose! Our cocktails were the best we had in a long time. Ginger bomb - the ginger and dark rum were blended in perfection. Margarita Maracuya w passion fruit was delish! Here’s our dinner menu:... More

This was the best meal of our trip! My husband got the steak with three sauces and I got the seabass! It was perfection! We also had the escargot appetizer and tres leches dessert! A meal I won't ever forget! The service was also the best!
