We had a business dinner in an exquisite upstairs private room. Great limited menu, no problem picking out a Palmieri salad, macadamia encrusted corvino and a chocolate coffee cookie crust pie like desert. A must visit if you can.

Very great food, my wife enjoyed her salmon which looked and tasted amazing. I tried another fish dish that wasn't that bad but kind of left me disappointed. But all in all great service and we had a nice view of the fountain. The lights in the outside around the walls should be changed though, they look like Christmas lights... More

Had a great meal here on our last night in Costa Rica. Luxury pricing, but excellent food that matches the price. The restaurant does a great job with high end interpretations of local dishes as well as more international selections. I had an outstanding Canadian duck breast. I had been here on my prior trip and was looking forward to... More

My sister took me last year for my bday! Really liked it, inside, is nothing as I expected, loved the architecture. The food was quite good, but it might be a bit expensive, but totally worth it. The service is quite good and friendly...is one of those restaurants you can go, without going to far from San Jose downtown. I... More

We were a table of four that enjoyed a delicious dinner. We had different plates that tasted great. Pork, sea bass and chateaubriand, all exquisitely cooked. Fully recomend this restaurant.

Intriguing menu using excellent local ingredients and wit. Seafood and vegetables in particular are recommended. We greatly enjoyed the robolo (snooker) a la Provençal, which tasted to us much like the kind of fine turbot preparing we have enjoyed in France. Really excellent dish. As was Palmito salad and sea bass. Good quality wine list.

Recommended if your after a good meal in ornate surroundings (probably ideal for that romantic dinner). Whilst this lived up to expectations, it lacked the charm and idiosyncrasy of more humble establishments. However, we couldn't fault the service and the food and wine was very good but be warned, there's a price to pay for the sumptuous surroundings. If possible,... More
