This is an excellent restaurant. The view of San Jose by night was breath-taking; the food and drinks were great, and the quality of service and the attentiveness of Alexander Segura and the staff were first-class! Without hesitation, we would recommend the Mirador Ram Luna restaurant and we thank César, of the Fleur de Lys Hotel, San Jose, for suggesting... More

I visited this restaurant with a group of 70 persons. We drove approximately one and a half hours from San Jose to get there, but it was truly worth it! This restaurant is located high on a mountain and there is a beautiful panoramic view of the city beneath. It was very chilly as we were so high up. The... More

Went on an excursion on our last night in Costa Rica because we got into San Jose late afternoon and it was the only option our hotel had for the rest of the day. Sounded cool - drive up the mountain with dinner and a show, $80 per person with transportation included. Our shuttle picked us up at 5:30pm and... More

Dear Anita. I am so sorry your experience was so bad in your visit to my restaurant. Usually it takes no more than one hour from any of the hotels to come to Ram Luna, but unfortunatelly the day you came there was a road blockade in San Jose, made by the taxi drivers that made a lot of damage... I had a great time with my gf at the restaurant. Our waiter Froylan Mora was very nice to us, it was our first time in here and he took his time to explain all the lights in the city. The food was delicious, the New York steak is amazing! Fully recommended for a romantic dinner, specially if you want... More

10/10 would recommend. Great food and great entertainment, they are very cheerful and make you feel quite at home. If you are celebrating a special date you'll have a very special surprise, make sure they'll know. A family restaurant that makes you very glad you went. But in the winter, bring a warm jacket, it gets cold up there!

To start, in day time it is very pretty, the views are very nice, during nighttime the views are pretty nice too but its kind of chilly so take a light jacket, the food is not very good, the night buffet is very limited and not very tasty but the show is pretty nice and entertaining! during the day the food... On our first day in San Jose our GPS accidentally led us to Ram Luna, rather than our hotel. We bumped into Gabriel, the owner's son, while we were there. Although he was in a rush, he showed us around the property (an amazing view of San Jose from the mountains) and told us about the show that was planned... More

I recently visited Costa Rica with my husband and mother and we decided to visit Ram Luna Restaurant upon seeing so many positive reviews. We were very disapointed, the vegetables were hard, the chicharrones were too dry, the variety of food was so limited. I was surprised that it was " all you can eat" buffet was so closely monitored,... More

I had some friend visiting my country in March and decided to take them because I was in an acceptable show years ago. Unfortunately it was a bad decision, sadly I have to say that it has become a mediocre show and mediocre food. The only good thing is the view. I felt disappointed and embarrassed of taking my friends... More
