Great View

This restaurant is at the top of a very steep Mt. But the views at the top are wonderful. The service was excellent, and the food was very good! There was an outdoor area with a fire pit but it was too chilly to be outside on the night we were there.

To start, in day time it is very pretty, the views are very nice, during nighttime the views are pretty nice too but its kind of chilly so take a light jacket, the food is not very good, the night buffet is very limited and not very tasty but the show is pretty nice and entertaining! during the day the food... On our first day in San Jose our GPS accidentally led us to Ram Luna, rather than our hotel. We bumped into Gabriel, the owner's son, while we were there. Although he was in a rush, he showed us around the property (an amazing view of San Jose from the mountains) and told us about the show that was planned... More

I recently visited Costa Rica with my husband and mother and we decided to visit Ram Luna Restaurant upon seeing so many positive reviews. We were very disapointed, the vegetables were hard, the chicharrones were too dry, the variety of food was so limited. I was surprised that it was " all you can eat" buffet was so closely monitored,... More

I had some friend visiting my country in March and decided to take them because I was in an acceptable show years ago. Unfortunately it was a bad decision, sadly I have to say that it has become a mediocre show and mediocre food. The only good thing is the view. I felt disappointed and embarrassed of taking my friends... More

Went there on a Wednesday which is the night they put on a buffet of local foods and put on a show. The show was interesting and worth seeing. The food was great. Black beans were the best :). Service was extremely good. The view of the city is absolutely amazing. Very romantic atmosphere. This is a must see place... More

My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary & my birthday. We arrived at night, and it was very clear, with a great view of the city lights. The restaurant space is open, cozy and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. We walked around, looking at the different traditional Costa Rican things, and walked around... More

I've been there a few times with my family and with my husband, it's a beautiful and romantic place, the food is really good and the service is excellent, We also went once for our anniversary and they treated us so great, even gave us dessert on the house.

Visited this fun restaurant while on a business trip to Costa Rica. There were 21 people in our group but we had no trouble getting seated at 2 big tables (we had a reservation). The food was buffet and was traditional Costa Rican food. It was fairly average. However, the entertainment made up for the food. Throughout the evening there... More

I was in town on business and the Ram Luna was recommended by a friend as a great place for a long casual business dinner. It did not disappoint. The wine, steaks, and service were fantastic. The drive up to the restaurant can be a bit treacherous but the Waze app does a good job of navigating and it's definitely... More
