Great Restaurant, fabulous location, but tempting to spend a huge amount of money...

Only twenty minutes (max) drive from downtown San Jose but in another world, found widing up narrow lanes beyond San Antonio de Escazu but well worth the scenic drive & not complicated to find with a little local knowledge. It's a beautiful area. This restaurant probably has the best view of The... read more

This restaurant was recommended to us by several people. The waiter first brought us a menu in only Spanish. We were up for the challenge and bringing out Google interpretation when the waiter brought us an English menu just teasing us. I got a chicken dish that was the best. The service was great. The view was spectacular

So we were sightseeing and found Mirador. Our intent was to see and leave, but the Manager Manuel was so personable, we began chatting and stayed for drinks and a late lunch. The service is impeccable, super courteous and very concerned with our experience. The wine list is impressive and the food was very good. We ordered the tomato soup... More

The prices are TOO HIGH. We checked the menu and decided to just to have a drink and leave (the most expensive drink ever). The view is beautiful, though... But you can find a quite similar view at many other spots in the area.

Very nice view but price doesn't match the quality of food nor service. The walls and cealing are dirty. The restroom is not maintained clean to say the least.

My partner and I wanted to see the view from Pico Blanco and found this restaurant on the way. The view is amazing and we decided to stop here before heading back home. My first impression was that this was going to be a typical Costa Rican food restaurant. When we sat down and were given the menus I was....surprised....... More

I don't tend to leave a lot of reviews for restaurant, but this one definitely warrants it. We were looking for a place to have lunch on 31 dec 2014 and were wandering around Escazu looking for a restaurant. A lot of them were closed, but this one happened to be open. The view was magnificent, so we decided to... More

I took my BF for his birthday dinner. Impressive view, we felt like we were taking off on a plane. It's definitely recommended for special occasions, it's very romantic... The wine was good along with the Italian risotto i ordered. It is a little pricey but its worth it.

I went for dinner on a Monday so it was pretty empty. if you are not from San Jose or have a good gps, it would be really hard to get to this restaurant. The restaurant has an spectacular view of San Jose. i would say great place for a romantic dinner, but we went on a business dinner. They... More

The pasta that were not sufficiently cooked. The sauce was way too creamy. The view was amazing (but there are other miradors on the way up that have a more local feel to it). The service was ok. The prices were ridiculous. We got to our table and they had open a bottle of water (10$) without even asking if... More
