Inspired cuisine in an antique shop

World class food by anyone's standards! Whoever is running the kitchen is an absolute genius. Our splendid waiters said the restaurant focussed on small plates (there's a choice of around 20 on tonight's menu) and went on to enthusiastically recommend favourites. We had a number of mind blowing... read more

I've been living here for almost 10 years and this was the finest restaurant I've been to in San Jose. We were here for Valentine's Day so it wasn't their regular menu, we'll go back again just to see what that entails. Everything we had was amazing - scallops, duck, beef, lamb, tuna (they were all smaller plates like tapas... More

This place is amazing.. from the decor (you can even buy the antiques that are on display), to their michelin star chef this is the coolest place I've ever eaten in the country. The service is A+, I don't even think I've ever experienced a level of dining like this in the country, and in fact I didn't really think... More

First off, hard to find, as there's no sign and no address, it's an old hacienda style home that's been converted - just look for a guy standing outside on the block looking like he might be guarding an entrance. Gorgeous interior, lined with antiques and lit by Japanese lanterns. Few tables, and far between, so you will feel a... More

We were a party of 8 at the Park Cafe about 10 days ago; it was our second visit to this lovely restaurant, and we were all beyond thrilled with our dining experience. The restaurant is housed in the midst of a beautiful antique shop, so you are surrounded by great beauty during your meal......what a great combination! It had... More

Visited with a potential client and was a bit apprehensive to go to a place I knew nothing of. What a fantastically surprising meal! Each dish better that the next and prepared with real care and attention to detail. I will certainly be back for more. The staff was attentive and took great care of us. The chef is uniquely... I cannot think of enough superlatives to describe the meal we had last night. Course after course of small plates- all unique and delicious. The space is in an antique store and is wonderfully tucked away. I can't wait to return.

As experienced travelers, it is not a trivial matter when we say the Park Café is our favorite restaurant in the world. But that is what you get when 2-Star Michelin Chef Richard Neat prepares, and serves, his creations. Returning from his annual reprieve, Chef Richard has a new menu with spectacular plates. For those that are not familiar, Chef... More

We haven't been there in a while cause the owners were traveling, but we miss them. We love this little courtyard restaurant. It's a beautiful small place with excellent service and an amazingly peaceful atmosphere. We love the Chef's creativeness and every bite looks and tastes amazing. This place is expensive, but we have never had reasons to complain. Everything... More
