delicate balance of flavours - to perfection!

Park Cafe is one of my favourite restaurants in San Jose. Its setup in an old courtyard that doubles as an antiques and curios shop, and only has a few tables so reservations are a must. The food is ever-so delicate, but done perfectly every time. This is fusion cooking done to a super high quality... read more

An impressive, detailed and accurate etiquette welcomed us to the restaurant. A precise, artistic and delicious food was served at our table. Why not coming back? Is the best restaurant in this country. Congrats to all the team, specially to Alex. Coming back soon.

First and foremost, the food is world-class, truly Michelin starred quality from a chef with 2 stars in the past. Setting is lovely in a charming antique store with an open air atrium. Attentive service with well curated wine list. Prices are very, very reasonable for quality of experience. An absolute stunner of a restaurant.

A splendid experience, the restaurant is set in an antique shop, beautiful, lovely place, a delightful garden; we sat in the garden. A very creative, inspired menu, the presentation almost artistic; we ordered to share the Foie Gras with crispy potatoes, rabbit with gnocchi, chorizo and braised leg, quail with dates and minted couscous and the breast of duck in... My wife and I were in San Jose in February, and had dinner at the Park Café. I do not think there is much I can add to the superlatives that have already been posted, except to say that I heartily agree and endorse all of the 5-star ratings and descriptions. It is essential that reservations be made several days... More

World class food by anyone's standards! Whoever is running the kitchen is an absolute genius. Our splendid waiters said the restaurant focussed on small plates (there's a choice of around 20 on tonight's menu) and went on to enthusiastically recommend favourites. We had a number of mind blowing dishes... I can't recall exactly what we ordered, I had too much... More

I've been living here for almost 10 years and this was the finest restaurant I've been to in San Jose. We were here for Valentine's Day so it wasn't their regular menu, we'll go back again just to see what that entails. Everything we had was amazing - scallops, duck, beef, lamb, tuna (they were all smaller plates like tapas... More

This place is amazing.. from the decor (you can even buy the antiques that are on display), to their michelin star chef this is the coolest place I've ever eaten in the country. The service is A+, I don't even think I've ever experienced a level of dining like this in the country, and in fact I didn't really think... More

First off, hard to find, as there's no sign and no address, it's an old hacienda style home that's been converted - just look for a guy standing outside on the block looking like he might be guarding an entrance. Gorgeous interior, lined with antiques and lit by Japanese lanterns. Few tables, and far between, so you will feel a... More
