I cannot think of enough superlatives to describe the meal we had last night. Course after course of small plates- all unique and delicious. The space is in an antique store and is wonderfully tucked away. I can't wait to return.

If you are looking for a place to be a regular, be treated with respect and kindness, and visit continuously in a romantic or business occasion, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE, food is ok, and the atmosphere is very nice, BUT a lousy customer service, starting with the doorman and finished by the chef, and an poor attitude regarding your... All of the following took place beneath our security cameras, so there is no ambiguity about this. The restaurant was fully booked, had been since three days. This man arrived at 8pm without a reservation. The first waiter told him unfortunately we were fully booked. He was clearly rude to the waiter in full full of the cameras. Then my... More

As experienced travelers, it is not a trivial matter when we say the Park Café is our favorite restaurant in the world. But that is what you get when 2-Star Michelin Chef Richard Neat prepares, and serves, his creations. Returning from his annual reprieve, Chef Richard has a new menu with spectacular plates. For those that are not familiar, Chef... More

We haven't been there in a while cause the owners were traveling, but we miss them. We love this little courtyard restaurant. It's a beautiful small place with excellent service and an amazingly peaceful atmosphere. We love the Chef's creativeness and every bite looks and tastes amazing. This place is expensive, but we have never had reasons to complain. Everything... More

The food is among the best I've ever had. One couldn't ask for more. It's also one of the most expensive restaurants in the country, but totally worth it.

CALL FOR RESERVATIONS - This is the hidden gem of San Jose! Hidden inside an antique shop on the backside of the Crowne Plaza Corobici is this amazing restaurant worthy of a Michelin star! I highly recommend asking Chef Richard Neat to just surprise you. Eight courses including dessert and wine to split between two people and still under $200... More

Best gourmet food in San José. Very refined to the taste and to the eyes. Bravo le Chef! From the entrées to the dessert is was a fine, delicate and sophisticated adventure. We were very happy of our choices. Menu is small which is the trend now in great restaurants in France. So you can be sure you are eating... More

Yes its expensive for costarrican standards but its a unique place with what is probably the best and most refined food ive had in a long time. Its more than worth it even if you can go only for special occations. The place is great, service and food too.

...I've ever at. This was my 2nd visit to Park Cafe in the last 6 months. For me, it was more enjoyable this time as I was able to absorb more of the fascinating character of the restaurant, which is also an antique store during the day, and the incredible detail of the food's presentation...I wasn't as overwhelmed by it...
