Excellent sushi restaurant inside the Intercontinental. Eaten there several times and had a very good experience.

The Nau Restaurant in the InterContinental Hotel in Escazu, San Jose, Costa Rica is remarkable in multiple ways: irrespective of its top class patron hotel premisses it offers great Sushi et al. food, enough drinks and a remarkably attentive service for very acceptable prices. Their drinks manager at the bar counter Sr. Walter (good old German name) is going out... More

I have been to this restaurant several times. The food is very good and the service is excellent. During weekends and holidays it is very crowded, but it is an excellent option for dinner or lunch in week days. They take reservations any way. I think it is a great restaurant.

The food is awesome, it is very good. The sea food and vegetarian options are good. The palace gets filled in pretty fast and it is small. They do not accept reservations. So be there early. The only downside is service is quite laid back. Please improve on this. Next time I will give 5 stars.

Sushi is very good but try the eel salad, it's delicious! The only problem I've experienced is that you cannot book a table.

This is a decent sushi place but sometimes they are a bit lost. They call rolls one thing and they make another. I got into an argument with the sushi chef (costa rican) about him calling rolls one thing and making another thing. He said this is what HE calls them and that's that. Other than this, it's nothing wow... More

I am an expat from Canada and a world traveller, and in Costa Rica, this is the restaurant that offers the best overall sushi experience. The rolls are of a decent size and although they are not very adventurous, they are very well executed, providing interesting combinations of textures and flavours. Nau gets really busy so the high turnover ensures... More

Really good restaurant, affordable prices in this part of San Jose. The BEST sushi place in overall price, quality and service.

Very good and fresh sushi! Nothing that will surprise (the rolls could be more elaborated) but good quality food.

Not a fan of this place at all. The service isn't very good, and its just a dull/boring place. They have no real scenery or view or even windows so it just makes for a bland experience. I've had much better food at better places here in SJ.
