I have been to Sisso 3 times over the last year. Food is somewhat typical for Middle Eastern food. Quality is very good, premises are good, clean with inside and outside seating. The place seems to be busy most of the time. I would return there for another meal.

Sisso is one of my go-to lunch places when in Costa Rica. The food is great, specially the chicken shwarma, my personal favorite (both in "plate" form or in pita sandwich). The hummus is creamy and delicious and the pitas are nice and fluffy! The staff is great, friendly and attentive. Location is very convenient, and the restaurant is nice,... More

Although the location belies the quality of the experience, it is definitely worth the visit. Service is prompt, food fresh and tasty. The Mediterranean menu is varied and everything seems to be prepared and presented well. Service is friendly and attentive. Having been there a few times, the servers recognize repeat customers and are friendly without going over the top.... More

Ambiance is nice, you can smell good food when you enter. The restaurant serves great food. The pita bread was cold though, otherwise the rest of the meal was pretty tasty. I ordered kebab and lemonade with herba Buena. Prices are reasonable.

This was another one of those tripadvisor recommendations near our hotel that paid off again. Gee! Go figure! We like middle eastern/Mediterranean food and thought it would be fun to see what it would be like in Costa Rica. The shuwarma was excellent as was the sangria that we had to accompany our dinner. All in all another tripadvisor find.

Their chicken shwarma is my go-to lunch dish in Escazu. The chicken is moist & flavorful, and when it's ready they have you come up to the bar and pick your toppings. Careful with the hot sauce... it's VERY hot. If you go for breakfast, the shakshuka (an Israeli classic) is on point. Stop in on Friday afternoons and you... More
