We stopped by to see the artwork, but found out that in the evening it is a pizzeria. The owner of the pizzeria was very nice that we inally stayed and had our pizza although the artwork area was closed. So, if you want to see the artwork, go until 4 pm and enjoy art and coffee.

Great laid back atmosphere and building. The owners are trying to establish this place as a meeting & conversation cafe.

Had a late lunch on Saturday. Minimal parking - had to park on street. Service is minimal and slow - one lady doing everything. It was 10 minutes after we sat down before we saw anyone. Restaurant decor seems to be tired as was the waitress/cook/and everything. Our food took over an hour and it was ok. I will say... More

When Bill Hill was the owner it was a great place for Sunday brunch. I'm not sure now but it is still a quaint indoor/outdoor restauratn.

This cafe is close to where we are staying, so we have eaten here twice and will again before we leave. The food is very good (pancakes, Warhol breakfast sandwich, typical Costa Rican plate, pressed Cuban sandwich). The waffles are not what Americans call waffles. They were much heavier. Still tasty, but heavy not light and fluffy. The service is... More

After reading reviews we decided to try. We were a group of six. It took an hour to serve the food for lunch. We were the only people there. Food was generally Average. A lot of fried potatoes. If you go stay with the typical Costa Rican food.

The food is good and their dessert frozen coffees with ice cream and liquors are delicious. But the best part is the bohemian artistic ambiance.

One of the few restaurants I have been to in Escazu where I felt like I was in Costa Rica and not a suburban strip mall. It is a small open restaurant, opening on to a quiet residential street. It has shade, is quiet, good service, interesting menu and the food great.

The food is great. Since it is somewhat outdoors there are smokers which I detest while eating
