We three ate last night in soda Sanchez . We each had a different meal with blended fruit drinks( watermelon , papaya, and pineapple. My vegetarianio plate was beautiful with so many different things including salad for $5. My husband had arroz con marisco ( filled with seafood) . Everything is freshly prepared . Interesting watching the street life in... More

Went there 2 nights ago, hoping to return before we leave Manuel Antonio area next week. The abundant positive reviews herein are well deserved. Señor Sanchez welcomed my family of 9 (wife, 5 kids, one friend, plus grandma) as we basically filled his tiny soda. We ordered casados, fajitas, and a burrito, all super tasty, fresh, economical, served with friendliness... More

This is probably the best soda I've been to. The food is incredibly good, lots of natural "frescos", the prices are great, and the ladies there are very friendly. The place is usually packed (there's a good reason!) so get there early or be ready to wait a while for a table. The seafood rice and the chiched breast with... More

I was on vacation with my family and we're looking for an affordable dinner place. The hotel receptionist recommended Soda Sanchez, located next to Hotel Sanchez, and close to the bus terminal (same street, one block away in the direction opposite to the ocean). After ordering I asked the waitress for some food for my 1.5 year old to snack... More

The place looks like a tiny hole in the wall, with only 3 - 4 tables, but the service was outstanding and the food great and very inexpensive. Senor Sanchez kept busy the whole time we were there with serving food and chatting with people. He was delightful to talk with, and helped me practice Spanish!

Good food and homey local atmosphere. Only about 4 tables. Recommend this place for a very Tico experience.

This is a good place to have a breakfast at, our favorite place in Quepos. You can see a lot of locals here too, they come here just to chat with the staff. Very friendly people and good food.

One of three great sodas in Quepos.Square meal for 4-5 bucks. The other is Soda Junior across from the bus station--more like a restaurant but calls itself a Soda. And the 3rd is 2 blocks east of Pali grocery store, same side of the street, forgot the name, but it is my favorite.. Sodas are a dime a dozen in... More

Place is very small -not enough tables-had to sit at bar which was not comfortable. We ordered Americano Breakfast and the eggs were not cooked at all-so runny could not pick up with fork. Sausage was like a hot dog and toast was soggy. Bacon tasted like turkey bacon. Maybe we should have orderd something else. It was clean but... More

Only a few seats at this Soda in Quepos. But have a salad or the catch of the day and you will think you are in a five-star restaraunt.
