We were on the beach for less than 3 minutes when my daughter ran into an old high school friend from our town who is married to the owner and chef of this restaurant. There were 8 of us that showed up for dinner and she was very accommodating but very overwhelmed. It took 3 hours to get our food... More

Soup was so good I had to restrain myself from licking the bowl out. Only complaint is that for a starter it was both big and pricey enough that I couldn't fit a main as well! Oh well will just have to go back, one day...

It was pure fate that I met the owner of Bohemia Cafe. Upon first meeting Marjorie's husband David, I knew I would be welcomed in to jewel of a hidden restaurant/cafe/boutique. It's really all that in one. I had the pleasure of meeting David on the Beach in Manuel Antonio. We became friends right away and he then took me... More

I recently visited the Bohemia Cafe and I can tell you I miss it already! You can tell the owners take a lot of care and love when preparing the meals that are served in their cafe. The produce and fish are very obviously fresh picked daily and this absolutely makes this food experience incredible. This is a very different... More

The service was very slow, our total for 2 adults and 1 child according to the owners calculation was $63. We got a mahi, tuna and Caribbean chicken. The food was ok, but not worth the long wait. Our total should have been around $30-$40, so I assume we were up charged for being gringos.

Thank you for your review of Bohemia. I spoke with Marjorie after your visit. She said that with your meals: mahi mahi, tuna, Carib chicken, smoothie , lemonade and mojitos that the price was very fair. Yes there is a longer wait because all meals are prepared when your place your order. All fresh food, sauces, and drinks are made... More

It took my husband and I a few days to realize that we wouldn't last our entire vacation on Costa Rican food. We gave Cosados a few tries and had some decent ones, but overall we were unimpressed with traditional Costa Rican cuisine. We decided to branch out and search for good food, regardless what kind of food it was.... More

You would never know when you first walk into this tiny, unsuspecting place that you're about to have your socks knocked off with an amazing meal! The owner, Margarite (I think), is lovely. She and her mother-in-law were the servers, the cooks, and hostesses. She made everything from scratch and it was PHENOMENAL. My husband and I had the thai... More

Decided to try this place based on Tripadvisor reviews and was so glad we did. My husband, daughter, and I went there on our last night in Quepos. Oh my gosh! The food was to die for.
