We ate here for dinner one night and they did not disappoint. I had a half plain half meat and pepper pizza and it was so good. My girlfriend has a white sauce pasta with fresh ham. This pasta was so good it wasn't that white sauce that's too heavy it was that perfect light but tasty kind. And then... More

Based on a tip from our taxi driver, we stopped here for dinner one night. The wood fired pizza was one of the best I've ever tasted. One of the best meals we had in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area.

We stopped in for gelato after eating dinner across the street. The service was excellent - everyone was so friendly even though we only bought 3 ice creams and 1 tiramisu. The atmosphere was very inviting, and they had free wifi! The food they brought to a neighboring table looked and smelled delicious. We will definitely have to eat here... More

My husband and I wanted Italian food and this restaurant was recommended to us. We had the most mouth watering, (serving for 2 HUGE) shrimp pasta, in a white cream sauce, served in a pizza dough bowl. The pizza was cooked in a fire wood oven. Delicious. Normally you are very hesitant to try foods that are not native to... More

Has good specials, good food and drinks, good service and not too expensive. Accepts credit cards. No a/c.

Pizza lovers, go no further, this is the place you want to be As a true pizza lover my hope for a decent pizza increased as I noticed a wood fired pizza oven. Howeveri had not expected it to be such a delicious pizza, could have been in Italy.

The ice cream was surprisingly good. The coconut flavor had pieces of coconuts in it and the higos with condensed milk was smooth and creamy. Granted the prices are comparable to ice cream in the US, but the place is well air conditioned with many seats, which isn't easy to find in Quepos. A good place to chill and have... More

Good service and pizza. Many pizza options for you to try. They use a wooden oven so the taste is even better. Highly recommended

Stopped in for dinner. Pleasantly surprised the owner was from Genoa. Authentic wood fire pizza, mozzarella de bufula from 800 buffalo imported from Italy. Excellent espresso and service. Definitely worth a trip while in Quepos. Much more authentic than the Mexican restaurants we saw.

As an Ice cream fanatic, I like to try ice cream everywhere I go. Escalofrio serves very good pizza and great pasta dishes at very reasonable prices. However, for the very best Ice cream in the area, it is the place to go.
