This restaurant recently moved from the heart of Quepos to the new Marina shopping area. It is owned and operated by the same woman who had it in town. However since I was there last year, the prices of doubled. While the food is still great, it appears to be a restaurant that is catering strictly to the Tourist trade.... More

Getty up Marsha. Missed you last time in town but had the food and it was great. Lots of memories and good times still had at your place. I recommend it to anyone passing threw Quepos.

The food is simply amazing at the El Gran Escape and reasonably priced the staff is extremely friendly. The Spring Rolls are absolutely the best I have ever had anywhere. The restaurant sits overlooking the Marina and the Ocean which means great views of the sunsets. Best restaurant in Quepos.

We came here after fishing on the Moonwalker-- great happy hour with friendly people-- ask for Eduardo and Melena-- two of the best bartenders ever! Was especially nice watching the sunset over the marina while having fish fingers made with the mahi-mahi we caught!

Great food, good atmosphere and the best pina colada I have ever had! You can't go wrong with any of the fresh fish, but if you want to stay on the more familiar side of things they make a HUGE and delicious burger.

An ample menu with great food for all type of food lovers. Appetizers are excellent, as main course, tuna and fish cannot be fresher. Great service and environment. Great view to the marina. Best hamburgers in town!

Had a great meal at Gran Escape at the marina. Great location overlooking the water, wonderful sunset, attentive service, and good food. Especially liked the avocado rolls, seafood chowder, ahi sliders. We brought friends this time and they have young children--everyone enjoyed the restaurant.

This famous restaurant is now located in Marina Pez Vela. It has long been known as a fisherman's hangout. You will see many photos of the great catches that date back two decades. The menu is extensive. There is something for everyone, kids and adults alike. We were there with a large group and everyone loved it. Fresh fish was... More

It is located over at the harbor not at the ocean front in Manuel Antonio. This was a very extensive menu, and we ordered fish and a hamburger. All three were very good.

I've been to the old location many times and it's always one of my favorite places to go when I'm in the area. I tried the new location a few weeks ago, and besides the view, everything was just "off". The menus had no logo on them, and they were not selling any of their "famous" tshirts they advertise on...
