Great place to dive in and sit for a spell

We were sweaty and looking for wifi, (for hubby's work), and dove in. We had a couple of pretty good cocktails and an excellent ceviche. The service was good, and the atmosphere was very laid back, with a great breeze to help us out!

From other reviews I got the impression El Gran Escape was gone and replaced by the Runaway. NOT true as we ate in the original restaurant last night and it was delicious. The cevich and sashimi were wonderful appetizers. Very fresh and flavorful. Our grouper was great and the side veggies cooked and seasoned just right. Husband had lots of... More

Very nice view of the harbor and the ocean, specially during summer nice place to cool down. Sadly my Margarita was not how I used remember, salty guacamole, curry chicken was not as savory as before, but my tuna burger save the day. I will come back to check if my old favorites in the menu are still the same... More

It is of the few restaurants located in the more local oriented town of Quepos. They serve delicious burgers ( huge ) and extra fresh Sushi ( Yellowfin Tuna )

Restaurant very nice with great views of the harbor and fishing fleets. Food was very good and staff excellent. A great spot for casual as well as fine dining.

The Burgers are incredible. Huge, juicy, delicious… We went there twice during our stay in Manuel Antonio.

This popular restaurant has moved to the beautiful new Marina a short distance away and even has a new name. However it remains a top restaurant with excellent food and a location with beautiful water views. Excellent seafood but everything seems good.

It was sad to see a place I had spent so much time in the past empty but the new grand escape (Runaway) at the marina is really beautiful and the food and drinks the same. Marsha is still there making sure everything runs smoothly.

Once a great spot to have your fish cooked for you as well as Coffee in the morning, but it is now being torn down and rebuilt. When it will reopen I don't know.

Wife and I went here for sea food. Staff were very nice, location on the Marina was nice, breeze was perfect! Food was OK. Wife loved the fish tacos (I tasted it, was good). I had the 'catch of the day', a Grouper filet. Nice size, fresh filet of Grouper was made with too much garlic (that burned on it)... More
