If you want a taste of Italy in Quepos - L'Angolo is the place. It's centrally located in the heart of town and is the winner of Best Takeout in "The Best of Manuel Antonio & Quepos 2014." The owner Gigi makes his own pasta and super tasty prosciutto. There's a variety of delicious authentic dishes like lasagna and spaghetti... More

We ventured in from Manuel Antonio to Quepos one evening to explore the town and were looking to find a place to eat serving something other than tico food. We found this place and decided to give it a try. The service was excellent and the staff very attentive. I ordered the fettachini alfredo and cant say enough about it.... More

It's surprising to come to Costa Rica and have Italian food, but the guy we rented chairs from at the beach in Manuel Antonio was raving about this place so we gave it a try. The service isn't great as we were barely acknowledged when we walked through the door even though we were the first customers to arrive. Not... More

Yes, we were shocked to find this little corner Italian Restaurant in Quepos! Although the establishment is a mix of a delacatessan and restaurant, there is a lot of variety of food choices from Italian sandwiches to a full dinner. The bruschetta appetizer and the dinners ordered such as lasagna and the pasta with eggplant was seasoned well and very... More

Too bad it's in Costa Rica. The guys there speak mostly Italian as if they just arrived from Italy, but their food is just as authentic and will blow you away.. that is how awesome this food is.. it was a long wait for food.. but totally amazing food.. well worth it.. the decor isn't all that, but it reminds... One would be hard pressed to find an Italian food this good in Costa Rica or the neighboring countries. The menu is a good size. In one week we ate there 4 times. This is a one person operation so be prepared to wait a while. The owner is the cook, waiter, cleaner, cashier.... no one seems to mind because... More

Ordered the lasagna and spaghetti carbonera. Both very good and total was about $20. Size of the kitchen was tiny- owner is an incredible chef. Neighborhood was a little scary after dark.

Many of the cured meats and cheeses are made by the owner. These Italian delicacies are hard to find in Costa Rica and when you do, you will pay a premium and they will be imported. There is a nice selection of deli items to buy, including Panetone bread which makes the best French toast. The lasagne, bread rolls and... More

We walked in and said hi to the shop keep, he wasn't friendly, maybe having a bad day. We sat and got out menus, seeing that he was a one man show, we waited further. Ordered out drinks and food and no drinks.. Waited and waited. Unfortunately, we decided to leave due to the described service Maybe he was having... More
