My family and I were buying souvenirs in Quepos and decided to try Dos Locos. I truly regret the experience. The restaurant is centrally located in Quepos and if you like people watching while hanging out with fellow Americans, this place is great. Seems like a nice place to have a drink and hangout. However, the food was mediocre at... More

Oh yes!!! We stopped here because it looked cool, open air with live music on a Saturday afternoon. It was across the street and down a bit from the bus station so we popped in. Clean, good service but waaaay to expensive for what you get. Keep walking.

We decided to have lunch at Dos Locos in Quepos today. 1 order of chips, 2 beers, comida tipico (typical CR food) and today's fish special plate which was not super fresh. Total: $34.67US. For two people. It was ok but don't go out of your way unless you need an expat to talk with as they seem to gather... More

This was an average experience. It is on a very busy corner of Quepos, which can be either good or bad depending on your mood. The food was good and the service was pretty good as well.

While doing a shopping, sightseeing walk through Quepos, we found this oasis among the hot streets. Good, cold cervezas and very good food. Not being really hungry, my wife and I shared a nacho order. It was well made and very filling. As others have pointed out, the people watching here was most enjoyable.Give Dos Locos a try when you... More

Came here our second day in the area and had about our 4th meal out. The food was fresh and felt healthy. Reasonably priced with a quaint atmosphere. Great for a casual night out!

Run by an American woman, Vera, a great place to sit and have a drink and people watch. Across from the bus station on busy pedestrian street. Food? Why anyone tries to do Mexican in Costa Rica is beyond me. The locals can't cook it. Mexican food is not popular with Costa Ricans. Owner needs to import a chef from... More

This is a nice bar/restaurant in Quepos. They have outstanding music in both the afternoon and the evening. The food is above average, and the service is good. Prices are about average. It is on a corner, so there is often somewhat of a breeze. Overall, this is one of my favorite places to just hang out in Quepos. Dogs... More

We paid 20.000 Colones/40 $ for: 1 flavourless taco salad 1 (unspecified) fish taco (wheat rather than corn) 2 beers 2 pineapple batidos Which would have been fine at half the price. Included for free: visits by the resident junkie couple and 3 guys digging through the garbage bin outside on the sidewalk.

We arrived in the Manuel Antonio area on Christmas Eve and checked into our hotel. Not knowing the area, we went into Quepos for dinner. In retrospect, we should have gone the other direction on the bus, towards MA Park. Dos Locos is across the street from the bus terminal, so we walked over there and spotted several people from...
