Good Mexican for the area

This is not the greatest Mexican food but I have had a lot worse. On Saturday afternoons a band called the Pura Vita So I'll club plays and there not bad. Good place to hang out with mostly Local xpats and a few tourists. A little pricy for what you get but the music makes it worth it. The lead... read more

What a fun experience! Dropped in for some much-anticipated Mexican food and were delighted to find out there was entertainment scheduled. Ben Jammin and the Howlers played some great rock favorites and the joint was jumping, inside and streetside! The food was terrific, great drink menu and a great first night for our trip toward Osa. Don't miss this place... More

very excpensive and they dont even include the 25%~ of taxes and service!!!! the food was okay but not worth it! we has to pay about 10 dollars more just becouse of the extra taxes and service..! (10$ is enough for a whole meal for 2 people in a typical soda!!!!)

We needed to sit down and eat after our journey from Monteverde and we just so happened to walk into Dos Locos. Since it was already midday but not late enough for supper, we settled on ordering appetizers: chicken wings, nachos and tacos. Everything turned out great and we were really happy. Don't know how good the mains are, but... More

I was so lucky when the place we were supposed to have breakfast at was closed. THey had a partnership with our hotel, but this very day , for some reason they were closed. So, we HAD to find another place and Dos Locos was it. And there, I finally had my bacon! I don't know abou other meals, other... More

We went to Dos Locos upon the request of our daughter who wanted Mexican. We had heard about it from our river guides who seemed ambivalent (as it turns out rightly so) about the place. We arrived there and I immediately noticed a sewer smell ( mentioned in another review) which put me off. The food was ok. I expected... More

The food is fine with good sized portions, and the waitstaff is very friendly. We went on a Wednesday night to see a trio playing Latin covers--actually, they were great. Locals stopped on the street to listen and dance with their kids. One of the waitresses danced with a cook... We were told it's the only live music in Quepos... More

I ordered some nachos and a queso fundido and the food was not any close to be Mexican food! The ambience was ok, not bad, however the place itself looked like it used to be an old house.

I can't believe we stumbled upon this place, it was the prefect find. Beautiful view, delicious breakfast, well priced and great service. We had the breakfast typico and it was the best breakfast we had in our entire stay in Costa Rica. Definitely worth stopping here for any meal.

My Son really fancied a Burrito. I must say it was really good. Portions there are big and very filling. Seating was right on the main road, which great entertainment, watching to locals drive.
