We really enjoyed the chips and salsa here, very fresh. The Red Snapper was very good and reasonable at $10.00. Nice place to watch the traffic go by and listen to live music. Easy to get to. Ride the bus all the way to the bus station and it is one block towards the ocean.

Went here for dinner as the other restaurant we wanted to try was closed. Had the beef casado, ok but the beef was very tough and could not eat it. Atmosphere was Ok, and drinks ok. Maybe ok for drinks but will eat elswhere

had dinner tonight. Service is slow, but servers are very nice. meal was failry good. I disagree about there being non-Mexican food. They had several good and good tasting Mexican dishes. I loved their Rellenos! Decent Chilli Con Carne, Gazpacho was fair. Overall not cheap - but seems like everywhere you go is pretty expensive in Quepos

We had the fish tacos and the catch of the day. They were busy so service was a little slow. The food is good although a little over priced

My first visit to Quepos was back in 1998 and my first cold cerveza in Quepos was at Dos Locos. I have been back to Quepos every year since. Ex-pats make up the regulars at Dos Locos and each has a favorite seat at the bar. The best seat is reserved for the owner, Vera. There is no better place... More

The place looked nice inside. I ordered a drink and a meal came to 5300C then a service charge 530C then a tax 689C total 6519C. I did not know nor was I told about the extra costs but buyer beware. The meal was so little that after I needed to go else where and order some food and I... More

We stumbled across Dos Locos after our trip to the farmers market on Friday night. Had excellent food and service. The shrimp and rice was delicious (my 7 year old came over and started eating it off my plate- it was that good). We also enjoyed the vegetarian burrito, fish tacos, and chicken tacos. The price was great. We had... More

I ate two meals. The cook and server were both Costa Rican and the menu even had traditional Costa Rican meals (along with the Mexican choices). The food was average at best, the service was marginal, and the prices overpriced as the other reviews also state. If you truly want Mexican food, wait until you are someplace other than Quepos... What an interesting bar on a corner in Quepos! I loved the open air atmosphere. Along with drinks and great music, the waitresses were friendly and the many ex-pats were obviously the regulars there. Everyone was welcoming and interested in one another. I felt quite at home though I was far from home.
