Good food, slow service

This was our first stop for a meal in Quepos. We were hungry & thirsty. We ordered our food (quesadilla and a chicken salad) and bevvies after waiting about 10 minutes. Our food arrived after another 15 but our beers were no where to be had. Asked for our beers again and they were plopped on the... read more

I have been to Quepos 4 or 5 times and have always stopped here when the music is playing... Wednesday nights for a great, but aging, rock band that plays old favorites very well. The open air ambience to the lively street corner only adds to it's 'charm'. I think I see most of the same folks everytime I stop... More

A great place to people watch in Quepos; perhaps none better. The Imperial cervezas are cheap and the Mexican food was good. Can't wait to check out the Wednesday night live music!

We got to Quepos and we were hungry, so I remembered this place from a guide book. Omg, so expensive and nothing at all like mexican food, or just food. Staff ignored us and we left hungry. We should have just got the local lunch next door.

We really enjoyed the chips and salsa here, very fresh. The Red Snapper was very good and reasonable at $10.00. Nice place to watch the traffic go by and listen to live music. Easy to get to. Ride the bus all the way to the bus station and it is one block towards the ocean.

Went here for dinner as the other restaurant we wanted to try was closed. Had the beef casado, ok but the beef was very tough and could not eat it. Atmosphere was Ok, and drinks ok. Maybe ok for drinks but will eat elswhere

had dinner tonight. Service is slow, but servers are very nice. meal was failry good. I disagree about there being non-Mexican food. They had several good and good tasting Mexican dishes. I loved their Rellenos! Decent Chilli Con Carne, Gazpacho was fair. Overall not cheap - but seems like everywhere you go is pretty expensive in Quepos

We had the fish tacos and the catch of the day. They were busy so service was a little slow. The food is good although a little over priced
