Good Mexican for the area

This is not the greatest Mexican food but I have had a lot worse. On Saturday afternoons a band called the Pura Vita So I'll club plays and there not bad. Good place to hang out with mostly Local xpats and a few tourists. A little pricy for what you get but the music makes it worth it. The lead... read more

I can't believe we stumbled upon this place, it was the prefect find. Beautiful view, delicious breakfast, well priced and great service. We had the breakfast typico and it was the best breakfast we had in our entire stay in Costa Rica. Definitely worth stopping here for any meal.

My Son really fancied a Burrito. I must say it was really good. Portions there are big and very filling. Seating was right on the main road, which great entertainment, watching to locals drive.

We have tried 3times to eat there and each time the gray water smell at the corner makes it intolerable. No fault of there own, Quepos council just does not care about the downtown area. There are numerous good restaurants to choose from and maybe one day I will try again.

4 stars beacause food genuinely good mexican, fish tacos casado and soup amongst us delicious. Slow service as is expected (to locals that is speeding). Price high/average

This was our first stop for a meal in Quepos. We were hungry & thirsty. We ordered our food (quesadilla and a chicken salad) and bevvies after waiting about 10 minutes. Our food arrived after another 15 but our beers were no where to be had. Asked for our beers again and they were plopped on the table 2 minutes... More

I have been to Quepos 4 or 5 times and have always stopped here when the music is playing... Wednesday nights for a great, but aging, rock band that plays old favorites very well. The open air ambience to the lively street corner only adds to it's 'charm'. I think I see most of the same folks everytime I stop... More

A great place to people watch in Quepos; perhaps none better. The Imperial cervezas are cheap and the Mexican food was good. Can't wait to check out the Wednesday night live music!

We got to Quepos and we were hungry, so I remembered this place from a guide book. Omg, so expensive and nothing at all like mexican food, or just food. Staff ignored us and we left hungry. We should have just got the local lunch next door.

We really enjoyed the chips and salsa here, very fresh. The Red Snapper was very good and reasonable at $10.00. Nice place to watch the traffic go by and listen to live music. Easy to get to. Ride the bus all the way to the bus station and it is one block towards the ocean.
