We went here twice during our 7 day stay in Manuel Antonio. Delicious, fresh seafood. I had never liked tuna seared on the outside but raw on the inside before this restuarant! They paired it with a delicious tomato. I also had simple, grilled Mahi-mahi which was also very good. Great atmosphere, good service, and not too expensive. Highly recommended!

We loved the ambience. Very local feel consistent with the Costa Rican experience we were looking for - nothing commercial and fancy, just real. It overlooks the Pacific and the moon was out that night and the fresh fish served were delicious. The ceviche was amazing and best tuna fillet ever! The prices were similar to US do only 4... More

On the main road between Quepos & Manuel Antonio. Not very imposing from the outside, but very nice inside. I had a mixed seafood platter with pasta. It was great. Friends had steaks that were very good.

Whole grilled red snapper and lobster was very good but it was a bit expensive for what we were expecting. Those plus two beers and one cocktail was $97!!! Might as well have been in the USA with those prices!

We ate here twice and both times the food was excellent. We were there off season and yes they had only one waiter, but with only three tables to service, he did a good job. We brought our catch ( Mahi) to them and they prepared it 4 ways for us. When there, try the local heart of palm sauce,... More

Yum, yum, and yum! Local flavor, beautiful sunset view, and attentive and helpful staff. They'll suggest their favorites and even help call you a cab to return home.

Service is good but they had only 1 waiter for a big place… Food was average. I had fish and it was so so.. Arroz con Camarones (Rice with Shrimp) was better. Everything else was ok

Get the lobster, shrimp and red snapper dish. The snapper was the best we'd ever had and even without Mar Luna's special butter sauce, the lobster and shrimp were so flavorful. We're big seafood lovers and critics, and Mar Luna exceeded our expectations. Not to mention, the view at sunset, even a cloudy-ish one---just gorgeous!

This was hands-down one of the best meals I've eaten in Costa Rica. While I've found Costa Rican cuisine to be rather bland, this evening's meal was tasty all around. The fish was grilled to perfection and the plantains candied and crisp. The service was impeccable and the free wifi an added bonus. The ambiance was topped off by an... More

Friendly atmosphere and good food. Very close to where we were staying, within walking distance. Enjoyed the Shushimi, excellent and the fresh fish. Returning customer.
