delicious fresh seafood with costa rican version of fried plantain - yum!

The seafood was supreme, there was a big menu with many options, and there was lots of wifi (too much for us but most will appreciate). My only concern was the sand fleas which bit me up, though not my friend.

We eat here whenever we come into town, the food is delicious, the staff are friendly and attentive, and prices are very reasonable. The waterfront view is a plus if no one is parked in front on the street. If that is a problem, they do have tables on the other side of the street right on the gulf. All... More

We were there for several days. Food was excellent. Marlon was helpful with translation and our practice of Spanish. He recommended the tuna one night and it was very good. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Jimenez.

I've been staying in Puerto Jimenez for almost two weeks and have been here for either lunch or dinner almost every day. The food is solidly good, nothing too fancy, but the service, from Jeremy to everyone else, is friendly and really makes you feel welcome. I've really enjoyed relaxing by the water while having a few beers and meals.... More

While the food and service were more than worth the price (not the mention the cold beer was a life saver on a hot summer day), it was a little on the dirty side, particularly the bathrooms, which is what knocks it down to a 3 star for us. Jeremy, our waiter, spoke perfect English and treated us extremely well.... More

Probably the best authentic (non-pizza) food in Puerto Jimenez. We ate there multiple days, for lunch and dinner. They happily cooked the fish that we caught on a local charter: don't miss the blackened style. Great lobster too. And frozen rum punch. An excellent waiter named Marlon helped us negotiate (he was bilingual). Highly recommend.

We went with another couple and had the seafood platter for 3 and it was very good and plentiful for 4. The restaurant is right on the beach with an excellent view of the water and flocks of parrots.

What a nice casual place by the beach! We tried their mix ceviche one night with was delicious with the homemade patacones, and returned the following to the same thing! The staff is super friendly, the place is chilled at night or during the day. Prices are affordable for Fresh sea food! Would return there for sure next time I... More

On the recommendation of the place I was staying when I had just arrived, I went here for lunch. a very nice salad with langostines cost the equivalent of $20,which I thought was on the high side. The menu is widely diverse, and the sign for "Today's Specials" seems to be permanent.
