Was so delighted to dine here at this oceanfront Goldmine for Seafood! We were in town for two nights and the food was so amazing that we went back the second night! The first night we had their "Specialty" the Seafood Platter - which our incredible waiter - Jose Antonio (ask for him - he was out Server for BOTH... More

Our first visit to this place the waiter recommended the mixed seafood platter. It was delicious and had enough to feed 4 adults. Next visit I went for the fish tacos and again I was not disappointed. The food and service was outstanding.

the mixed sea-food platter for 2 is oily, full of unidentifiable seafood pieces (not clear texture or taste, octopus?), the clams are stale and dried, and the promised lobster is missing -- the waiter said no lobster today without apologizing. The tuna sashimi is not fresh and has no taste. Makes one wonder about the raving reviews. Costs $80 for... More

A friendly staff and pleasant view really prop up Marisqueria Corcovado. I always try to plan my visits to Puerto Jimenez around the high tide as it becomes a quaint town with an idyllic vista. Sitting in front of the small harbor enjoying a ceviche and cold imperial is one of the small pleasures in life. It is an ideal... More

We stopped for a quick lunch of ceviche and couldn't have been happier with it. The drinks were also excellent. We sat looking across the road to the bay. It is open air, but there is a roof for some shade.

Gigantic bill just for snacks :-(. And the service was extra slow. The Soda next door is much happier.

While Costa Rica has become more like Costa Cara, this is the place to eat fresh, whole fish. We came here three times. Ask for pes entero, and ask them to show the fish they have right now. Fish is always fried but tasty. Recommend the fried Yuka

Food is good, reasonably priced and had great friendly service. One of the better places in town. Bathroom was disgusting even for remote CR.

Both took the grilled fish, lovely and fresh in this well located restaurant. Very friendly service by José Jirón!

In Costa Rica there are Restaurants and Sodas. Sodas are like a smaller version or cheaper version of a common restaurant that not necessarily means bad food. Actually, some of my favorite meals are bought at soda's. I purchased two meals: fried fish filet with garlic and shrimp with rice. The service was fine, but the food was probably 5/10... More
