A must see!!!

Pearl of the Osa is the outdoor restaurant and bar located at Iguana Lodge. My fiancé and I came here twice because it is BY FAR the most beautiful place to relax and enjoy a good cocktail. It is a $14 cab ride from town and menu prices are very reasonable (drinks around $6/7). La Perla de la Osa... read more

I took my girlfriend to Puerto Jimenez for a romantic 40th birthday. That being said, the grounds were nice. we stayed about a block away at Casa Bella (which was amazing), and decided to come here for her birthday dinner. We were the only people in the entire restaurant, until 10 minutes later I get tapped on the shoulder by... More

Hi Daniel, I certainly recall your visit to the Pearl and honestly did not know anything was a miss... that you were rubbed the wrong way. As owners, my wife Lauren and I often greet visitors who come to the Pearl. This is the first time any one has complained about it. I certainly did not meant to be intrusive... More

On the nights we did not dine at the Iguana, we happily walked over to the Pearl, where everything was delicious, portions were generous, music great. Very friendly environment, spread from the workers to the patrons. Such fun!

I ate most of my meals here during my stay at Iguana Lodge. Dining al fresco. Beautiful views of the gulf while you are eating. Yummy food served rather quickly. There is no feeling rushed while dining here. You're meant to take your time and enjoy the experience.

Friday night is a pasta buffet. When in-season, there are local people and and dancing. We danced, but few locals because it was not the high season. Really good BBQ buffet and bonfire on Tuesday night. Service very friendly and good.

We visited Pearl of the Osa & heard about "BBQ on the Beach" Tuesday nights. So we reserved & returned the very next night (tues) by walking in along the beach from Pelican House. We arrived in perfect timing as the buffet was being set up just before 5:30pm. We had BBQ chicken, tuna, & the most amazing, fresh salads... More

The Pearl of the Osa offers fresh, flavorful cuisine, a breathtaking beachfront view, and impeccable service. The mahi mahi is a favorite, although their salads and other items are superb as well. Fans of the traditional Costa Rican casado (typical food) as well as gourmands with other tastes will be greatly satisfied by the food and service here. I give... More
