This was the only place to watch Costa Rica play the Netherlands in the World Cup. It was a lot of fun. Adults, kids and pets all crowded around 2 -- 32" televisions to watch the game. Martina sells 2 kinds of beer--Imperial and Pilser. She had soda pop and wonderful ice cream for the children, and water bowls for... More

We went to Martina's with a group of 6 adults and 8 young adults. I took the order for our group as nobody else showed up to do so. I placed and served the drink orders and I took and served the food. The owner was drunk or high and wanted to get into the pants of her cutie bartendress.... More

Overpriced, but where else are you going to go to eat if you're in this area? It's the only restaurant around. Delicious fresh food in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. On Fridays it's market night so the crowds come out - it's a fun party vibe on this night, and you have to be very patient in waiting for your dinner.... More

My family and I visited Cabo Matopalo a couple weeks ago, and hit up Martina's one night after it looking like a fun scene. We've never written a bad review before but we agree this encounter is worthy. The food was phenomenal. The service was TERRIBLE. The bartender/server was so rude, it was almost unbelievable, like we were on a... More

We really enjoyed relaxing over cold cervezas at Martina's. So much so that we came back a second time for dinner. The food was really good - we had some killer mahi mahi, tune and smoked pork chops. So tasty.

On our recent trip to the Osa we went for a drive and on the way back we stopped at Martina's for drinks and something to eat. The quesadillas were delicious! Two other couples came in while we were eating and ordered the Casada (smoked pork chop meal). My husband thought it looked so good that we decided to go... More

A very comfortable place to lounge and enjoy a drink and some grub. Wednesday pizza nights are not to be missed also. Martina is the owner and is a lovely lady. After a day of surf this is my new go to place. When in town come check it out for yourself .
