As said, below, this restaurant is now Chelo. We went on a Monday night and the restaurant was full. We had high hopes since the waiters from other restaurants we had eaten at, were eating at Chelo. However, the pizza had very little cheese, had little taste and was over priced. It took a long time to be served and... More

It should be noted that this restaurant has changed its name. It is now called "Chelo." The food was excellent. We ordered a couple of pizzas and they were both some of the best pizzas we have eaten. There was only one waitress, and every seat was full, so dinner was a long process, but it was really good food.... More

My family of 4 (2 children) ate there while on vacation to Montezuma. The food was excellent!!! No issues with the service. But an FYI...they changed their name to Chelo. That threw us off a little when we were trying to locate it. The fish bruschetta was phenomenal...a must try.

I have to say, the pizza we had at Angolo was unbelievable and better then the pizza I had in Italy. The crust was light, the tomatoes were fresh and the cheese,,,so Yummy! I'd suggest this place to anyone if you'd like some pizza pies while in town. We also had salad which was fresh and nice on a hot... More

AMAZING pizza! I also had really good gnocchi. I went two days in a row because I couldn't stop thinking about it. The service was great and it was even busy really late one night!

Cute little italian place on the corner. Am giving this place a good review as the carbonara was fantastic & rest of food was really nice too. However if you are taken in by the board specials outside make sure you get what you are given & are charged the right amount. If you don't like live local music I... More

I had one of the best slices of pizza ever at the Angolo Allegro. It was juicy, dripping with cheese, and plenty of mushrooms. This is not your ordinary Costa Rican pizza. It's also right in the center of Montezuma - very convenient. I will go back.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant for pizza delivery. We called for delivery but they wanted us to place an order over $50 so we got on the quad and went down the hill into town. It was after 9 pm and the restaurant was still very busy and the wait for our pie was about 30 mins. We got a... More

I noticed the reviewer who complained of tiny portions. I myself don't believe portions need to be huge, and I was more than satiated my the size of my dinner. The night I visited, I enjoyed their special spinach ravioli in arrabiata sauce, which were handmade, quite large, there were at least 7 of them, and I left neither hungry... More

Let me start by saying that I understand montazuma is a tourist town and may charge more than usual ... Also because of the location. I've been here over a week and have tried most of the resteraunts. I ordered the lasagna and it looked like a child's portion. I paid 7500 C or 15 $ us for the smallest... More
