very delicious. I'd say our most pricey meal on our travel but a splurge night I highly recommend. Definitely shoot for the specials and any of their seafood dishes.

We stayed in the hotel here, so we had breakfast in the restaurant every morning. It was a great start to our days, and the food was always delicious.

Aside from the restaurant at the Ylang Ylang Resort, this was the only other restaurant we tried in Montezuma. The food tasted good, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was pleasant. There's outdoor seating in the back, and seating inside is under a fan. Service was quick and pleasant.

I loved this place! I am gluten free and cannot have dairy and they had this all listed on the menu. I was even able to eat a dessert which never happens because of my food issues. We sat in the outdoor patio in the back, which was a little buggy.

We went here twice for lunch. Sat out back where they have a nice terrace (saw a monkey in the palms on day 2). Kids loved the banana pancakes. Dad had very large fresh tuna special and then lovely spaghetti with prawns day 2. All food good portions and fresh. About $15 per head without drinks.

My friend stayed at this hotel and it's beautiful inside. They have nice outdoor seating below the palm trees, right next to the ocean. I had the Peruvian ceviche and it was my best meal in Costa Rica so far! (I've been here for two months.)

Best Piña Coladas I've had in years! The food is fantastic too, particularly the tuna with Chimichurri! They serve a lot of vegetarian options, fish and hormone-free chicken. No meat for ethical and environmental reasons. Friendly staff and a cozy back garden. We came back several times during our six days stay in Montezuma. I highly recommend this place!

The food was perfect, the service was great! Enjoyed sitting outside by the road to see the action around us.

Good selection. Comfortable, casual atmosphere. Friendly staff. Delicious, refreshing slushy iced tea like none I've ever had. Decent sushi.

We enjoyed El Sano Banano twice during our week long stay in Montezuma, Aug 22 to 29, 2014, many delicious vegan choices. A must try is the fried plantains with salsa and guacamole dips, yummmy! The vegetable wrap also great! The staff is friendly and attentive, helpful and informative about the local area. And the best thing about El Sano... More
