Ceviche, oh yeah.

Great Oceanside restaurant in Montezuma. The restaurant is owned by an Italian and offers many Mediterranean takes on local cuisine as well as a variety of pasta, fajitas, etc... It's not so much the food, which is mediocre. It's the attitude of the owners. I have eaten at every restaurant and cafe in Montezuma and every one of those places loves tourists...except Cocolores! Every place enjoys their interaction with the tourists...except Cocolores! Every place truly seems to desire to please and take pride in their food and service...except Coclores!... More

located right on the beach in Montezuma. Good choices for the whole family, seafood and chicken in their coconut curry sauce were the stand outs

Lucas, Max and Stephanie were all fantastic! Great beach front dining with the waves crashing nearby. Fantastic fish! Perfect for all occasions .

I am not a big fajita eater but the smell was so good I had to try them, I was not disappointed! They come with several bowls of toppings and the meat was delicious - I could have split them with someone. The rest of my family ordered the fish fillets (garlic) and one garlic chicken. We were all so... More

This is maybe the best place to eat in Montezuma.Attentive staff, fresh food, interesting menu, free spirit of the place situated between the beach and the main street. If you want to absorb the spirit of Montezuma you have to go there. We ordered fish and fajita, both were fantastic. We definitely enjoyed food, service, esprit of the restaurant and... More

We ate here twice, delicious and creative food. Probably the best Ceviche we ate in the whole of Costa Rica, and my wife fell in love with the inventive coconut fish-curry cooked with banana (not plantain).

During our 2-weeks vacations in CR, I had dinner with my second half at Cococolores. I was expecting something good considering the reviews on TA. The place is nice and music and atmosphere are good, but: there was absolutely nothing that appealed to me on the menu. My husband ate pork brochettes, I ate the squid. Both plates were served... We went for a snack and some drinks because everything else in the town was pretty much closed past 8pm. They had cute candles lighting all the tables. The mojitos were yummy and the bartender, although reserved, was awesome. The owner was really friendly; he told us he came here from Italy in 1996 to open the restaurant. The only... More

My wife and I ate bruschetta to start, which was delicious. I had tuna and she had caprese salad. All food was fresh and tasty. Tables were a little tight together and we heard all of our neighbors conversations. Service was friendly and casual. Much like many Costa Rica restaurants, we waited a long time for the bill and eventually... More
