Great place for families and also big groups. The pizza was really great with a nice atmosphere. Kids enjoyed as well.

The bartender at our hotel recommended Tramonti as the best pizza in Monteverde, and we were not disappointed! We ate at Tramonti two times while we were in Monteverde and it was excellent. The pizza, the caprese salad and the desserts were all really good.

Nice setting. But we can't say much more positive. It was not a busy night and our server disappeared. We had to flag down other servers. So service just killed it. Food was "good" classic Italian. The nail in the coffin was getting a pasta dish to go for one of the other travelers who decided to lay in. In... More

Everyone in our group of 40 loved the food and the overall experience, especially the pizza and sea bass, but there should be a warning label on the green hot sauce! About 15 in our group tried it and it was obvious who did -- because they got bug-eyed and started sweating almost immediately.

Who knew Costa Ricans were into great Italian food. We ate at this restaurant two nights in a row and were surprised at its wood-paneling and smells of delicious pizza coming from their brick oven. The pizza we digested on the first night had the right texture -- oozing cheese with a crisp crust. The second night featured a tomato... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to Fonda Vela Hotel. The road it sits on is not in great condition, but if you are going to Monteverde you are probably already using a 4WD car. The food was absolutely delicious. The first time we ate there, we had just arrived and it was between lunch and dinner time.... More

I visited this restaurant as part of a Gate1 Tour so it's hard for me to speak about it's dollar value, however, I'm glad this is the place Gate1 had chosen for "our last meal". We were ending our one week tour around Costa Rica and it was a warm, cozy environment to share with old and new friends. I... More

Great Italien Food! Not to expensive and nearby the village of St Elena, Monteverde. Also visit, for lunch, Coffee Shop Orchid, downtown St Elena, great food and smoothies. Best Regards Rob Huijbers

We went at a very busy time and they seemed to be short staffed. Nevertheless, we had a nice time. I did get my own water a couple of times but no biggy. We had a sausage and onion pizza. It rocked. FYI the hot sauce that comes with the bread is crazy hot! We also had pesto gnocchi and... More

The food was great, wine was ok. Everyone liked the caprese salad... they did a good job getting the food out but getting the check was slow. They did a nice job with larger groups.
