Most restaurants in the area open air and very casual. This is also open air and casual bit it is also a pretty restaurant as well. We loved the seafood "cigar" appetizer. My husband and kids loved their food and they are very picky former Manhattanites. I was a bit disappointed in the macadamia encrusted Mahi Mahi. Too much coating... More

We had there a fantastic dinner for 2: perfect romantic atmosphere, elegant place (what you look for when you spend all day in the jungle), but... IT'S SO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS. I think that it's not fair to pay that ammount of money (85 DOLARS) for 2 people, sharing an starter, 2 main dishes, 2 glasses of wine... More

Dinner at Kapi Kapi for our last night in Manuel Antonio was a perfect way to end our trip. The fish "cigars" are a great appetizer to start. The fish entrees were fresh and tasty -- the volcano chocolate dessert is a must-have. It takes about 20 minutes to prepare so order it when you place your dinner order. Best... More

Becoming all to commercialized and the prices are to high for the quality of food served. The menu has seen little change over the last few years. Over all a decent place to eat but much like a lot of Manuel Antonio it has become overpriced and the food all right but not exceptional. Labor is cheap, the fish is... More

The atmosphere was lacking and the food was fine, but not as good as most of the other restaurants we went to in the area. Nothing wrong with the place, but I do not recommend it considering that so many other nearby restaurants have better food and a better atmosphere.

Easy walk from Tulemar. Heard great things about it, however most people said it was overpriced. We ordered the Mahi Mahi and the steak. My wife and I shared. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. The portions were very generous. The same meal in the Washington DC area would have been more expensive and the portions smaller. I was... More

We stumbled on Kapi Kapi, but what a great find! All seven meals were terrific as well as the appetizers!

We went with a very large party of ~20 people. Food was good but took them some time to serve us. Also didn't have a kids menu so wasn't a great fit for the pickier of the kids.

We had a party of 9 and almost everyone enjoyed their food, but it seemed a bit overpriced. The chocolate desert was the highlight of the meal.
