Excellent service. Reasonable prices for 4 star dining. Creative fusion food. The calamari and mahi mahi were fantastic. Calamari was one of freshest and best I have had. Definitely get the chocolate soufflé.

The place was empty on a Saturday night. Since we got there we felt that they wanted to kick us out because we were the only table. The plates were served extremely fast, not giving chance to enjoy a pleasant meal. The portions were big and saucy. Not worth the money.

This restaurant was highly recommended to us. The atmosphere & staff were great. My husband and I were craving some meat after eating so much fresh fish in Cental America, so we decided our splurge night dinner would be Kapi Kapi. Unfortunately, my husband and I ordered the same thing, which was the churassco. While the meat was cooked to... More

After finding Kapi Kapi always closed when we stay in Manuel Antonio (green/slow season}..we were able to dine here on the last weekend they were open for the season. Very lovely setting. We split the farmer's salad which was large enough for 2....good light dressing & a generous portion of feta on the side....Entrees of miso honey grilled chicken &... More

Four of use ate at this restaurant and we were all in awe. The food was absolutely delicious. The portions were very good size and the seafood was very fresh. The sauces and salads were very unique and very tasteful. I would strongly recommend this restaurant. The service was also excellent. One of the best meals you will have in... More

Most restaurants in the area open air and very casual. This is also open air and casual bit it is also a pretty restaurant as well. We loved the seafood "cigar" appetizer. My husband and kids loved their food and they are very picky former Manhattanites. I was a bit disappointed in the macadamia encrusted Mahi Mahi. Too much coating... More

We had there a fantastic dinner for 2: perfect romantic atmosphere, elegant place (what you look for when you spend all day in the jungle), but... IT'S SO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS. I think that it's not fair to pay that ammount of money (85 DOLARS) for 2 people, sharing an starter, 2 main dishes, 2 glasses of wine... More

Dinner at Kapi Kapi for our last night in Manuel Antonio was a perfect way to end our trip. The fish "cigars" are a great appetizer to start. The fish entrees were fresh and tasty -- the volcano chocolate dessert is a must-have. It takes about 20 minutes to prepare so order it when you place your dinner order. Best... More

Becoming all to commercialized and the prices are to high for the quality of food served. The menu has seen little change over the last few years. Over all a decent place to eat but much like a lot of Manuel Antonio it has become overpriced and the food all right but not exceptional. Labor is cheap, the fish is... More
