Although Costa Rica is not generally an epicurean delight, Kapi, Kapi was an excellent exception. As I was to be away on our anniversary, we celebrated early, and this was a good choice. I had a panko-crusted Mahi Mahi, which turned out to be one of the nicest fish dishes I have enjoyed. My wife's stake was also quite good.... More

we read mixed reviews about this place and decided to give it a go... I have to say we went at 8pm and the place only had two tables busy and lacked ambience. The food we ordered was lobster ravioli which tasted bland and when my wife stated this fact to the waiter he just said nothing. We suspected that... More

This review has just been brought to my attention. I regret that these guests had a less than enjoyable evening at Restaurant Kapi Kapi and feel it’s important to address some of their concerns. We do not use frozen foods to create our menu items, nor is there a microwave anywhere on the premises. All of our entrees are cooked... More

We walked up to the restaurant in the dark and have to admit the approach was beautiful. Dinner and drinks were excellent. Kind if pricey but all the restaurants of this caliber in the area are similar priced. A must go. Kid friendly.

Went here for dinner the first night in MA. The open air style and decor was nice. The food was nothing special, average at best. Nothing was bad, just would not recommend or go back. Many better options for delicious food and dining experience.

We were fortunate to spend our last evening at Buena Vista Villas by dining at Kapi Kapi. Just a short walk from the entrance to BVV, Kapi Kapi was the best restaurant we ate in on our vacation. We enjoyed the appetizers (including spring rolls), entrees (tuna and steak among others), and desserts. All delicious, and the ambiance is excellent.... More

Beautiful restaurant, really great menu (lots of different choices), friendly service, and FABULOUS food! Not cheap (but none of the nice restaurants are), but if you are going to pay those prices, eat here!

One of the places we were told to go to was Kapi Kapi but the service we received was nothing like the service we received at any of the other restaurants we went to. That was the only problem we had. The food was great but we just felt that it was a lot more money and less atmosphere. Maybe... More

This elevated, “in-the-trees” restaurant serves up a first-rate dining experience. The dishes, the service, and the general ambience, are all excellent. Somewhat pricier than the alternatives, but well worth it. Helpful hint: the chocolate souffle requires some preparation time, so the opportunity to order it arrives early in the proceedings. Do take the plunge; it is wonderful.

Overall the food was decent. My husband loved his, mine was just ok. The main issue we had was I got really sick at dinner. we had ordered dessert but I needed to leave and it was a big ordeal to cancel the dessert and get our check. We told them to box up the dessert if they started but... More

Amazing meal. The chocolate souffle is a must!! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was perfect. The meal was a little pricey, but really worth every penny!
