Mahi Mahi fish tacos in a crisp tortilla with a cold Imerial beer. Completely open air. Very casual atmosphere. Relax, Pura Vida!

My wife and I came to this place with our 2-year-old after a full day on the beaches inside Manuel Antonio Park. Besides serving us the best arroz con camaron I have ever had, they went totally out of their way to help us calm our hungry kid. We came back 3 days in a row, walking a little further... More

Originally came here for some daiquiris and piña colada. I don't recommend ordering that here... They weren't very good which worried me about the food. Fortunately the food was actually pretty good. I got the Texas burger and my boyfriend got the chicken club. Both were very tasty and the fries were really good.

We had breakfast twice here during our stay. A roomy, semi-outdoor eatery under a zinc roof surrounded by plants, looking onto the street, and a stone's throw from the park entrance. Service with a smile to start with, an attentive waitress who tried hard to please. First day, straight off the menu, pineapple juice, a 'típico', which is gallo pinto... More

The restaurant is conveniently located right outside the Manuel Antonio park, right next to where you pay your entrance fee for the park. The place is nice, but most importantly provides good food for a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly -it's always a plus when you travel with a baby as the Costa Ricans are very baby-friendly. We... More

The food cooked to perfection , fish is great and the typico is also worth trying. The open air dining is kind of the norm but at Funky Monkey the girls try real hard to serve with a smile and genuine care for the customers.

We had seven people in our party. After serving five our our party their meals, the other two were told that they were out of guacamole, so they opted for fries. After ten motte minutes they finally bring out the two orders of fish tacos, which consisted of fish, French fries and salsa. There were no tortillas for the tacos!!... More

If you are looking for a romantic evening with beautiful surroundings and hot and cold running waiters and waitresses this is not the place. If you are looking for great authentic food, friendly helpful staff and a peek into the local world you found the place. My wife and I were walking down the street and the gentleman out front...
