We came for dinner the place was almost full but the waiters were able to arrange a table for 5 pretty fast. The atmosphere is really nice, music in the background and cool breeze. We were all really hungry and the wait time looked very long. The recommendations for food were good however the dishes (mine and my husband )... More

The main reason to go there is to watch the great sunset in that great view point to the ocean. Have your falafel in the Falafel Bar right next to it, and then go to Emilio for a nice iced coffee and a cake. There's a nice variety of cakes. And it looks like there's live music later at night.... More

We ate here twice during our visit to Quepos. The setting is gorgeous and the food is great. Had the calamari, octopus salad and felafel pita sandwich. Don't pass on the desserts - all are made on the premises and the chocolate dipped macaroons are divine.

This place is open about a year and I am very glad we were told about it. It is right up the road from Arenas Del Mar almost next to the Miraposa Hotel. Does not look like much from the front, but it opens into a very nice open air restaurant with a good gentle breeze. Very large portions. We... More

Emilio's has such a great atmosphere! The decor is colorful and very inviting. This restaurant also offers a fantastic view of the sunset. I had a fish with coconut, ginger and curry and it was very good. Sandwiches looked really nice too, although I didn't get to try any. I definitely recommend this spot!

nice little cafe offering coffee, cocktails and pastries with a wonderful view of the water. Look for the vanilla orchid under the starfruit tree when you go.

Over three weeks of being in Quepos/Manuel Antonio, we went to Emilio's around seven times. Made friends with the servers, who everyday were very attentive even though we were often sandy, coming from the beach and were college students that didn't have a ton of money to spend. The food was great, the dessert was incredible, and the drinks were... More

If you are up for a relaxing evening, good local food (yummy seafood) and cocktails, this is your place. If in addition, you like music, with jazzy bands on week-end, then this is your must-visit place! We went there 3 nights during our 5 night stay in the area. The staff was really nice, and offered us a drink at... More
