Great views. Yummy food. Friendly service. Highlights include all of the fresh baked breads and goods - it seems everything is made from scratch. Definitely check it out.

I honestly wish we had gone here more. Even though they only accept cash. Emilios is great for a big group and the view (no matter where you sit) is really amazing. Monkeys also came to visit us as we were eating, but they seem to have trained them very well not to actually come inside the restaurant. I wish... More

We have been here couple times for breakfast - the coffee and the pastries are great choice to start the day. Dinner menu is short, but good and in combination with live music (check when available) its a great choice - place gets full, so you can feel the local life. The service is not very fast or particularly friendly,... More

During our recent 8 day trip to Manuel Antonio, we ate at Emilio's at least 5 times. We were never disappointed. Food highlights included a to-die-for chicken curry, fantastic falafel and a moist and fresh-from-the-oven chocolate mocha cake. Everything is made from scratch and the menu is creative and beautifully executed. And the coffee was a must for our non-coffee-drinking... More

Emilios was right next door to the villa we were staying in. We wouldwalk over every morning for a delicious iced coffee and a smoked salmon bagel. From the seared tuna, coconut curry mahi...this place knows how to serve up some great food. And the desserts are incredible too. And then theres the staff. Well by the time we left, they... More

Emilio's had good coffee and a great breakfast. We were greeted kindly by the whole staff who seemed eager to help. The views are worth going for, alone, but the food was great! They only accept cash, so keep in mind. ATM access is close by. The desserts looked incredible but we were in for breakfast. They play live music... More

After a day in the national park we accidentally dropped by at Emilio's. Not expecting a lot because we didn't check the reviews or travel guides. But we were positively surprised by the great food. The quality of the seafood and taste were extraordinary good. We therefore recommend this restaurant to everyone. It also has a nice open terrace with... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Emilio's, which is walking distance to several hotels on the main drag in Manuel Antonio. The host/waiter made sure we got a table on the edge of the patio for the best view of the sunset, as soon as it was available. The menu was varied and included some Italian and Asian influences in addition... More

Bring cash, they don't take credit. Generous portions and great service. The entrees were excellent. Dessert was just okay.

The Ticos do it right. Breakfast should come with desert and it will jump start your day. The food is flat out awesome! The scenery is unparalleled! The coffee is dynamic! This is one of the best places to grab breakfast that we have ever been to. The inside decorum is a little odd with pictures of women with AK47s... More
