We tried the chocolate mousse recommended by the lady and it was outstanding and coconut flan was amazing and my fiancé loved the peanut butter pie. Great views and saw a monkey too. Loved it.

Sadly, we found Emilio's at the very end of our time in the area. Good food and great view - nice coffee drinks and pasteries. It is off the main street and worth finding.

This little place just off the main road to Manuel Antonio has a lovely open air view and really good breakfasts. We went there for breakfast on our last morning in Manuel Antonio. We didn't eat any other meal there, but would assume they would be as excellent as their breakfasts. We were so sorry we hadn't stopped there before,... More

This place was great because it was literally down the road from our hotel. La Mariposa, and when we wanted a nice spot to just sit down and have a drink or coffee and slice of pie..Emilio's hit the spot....every time.

We came to this cafe twice during our honeymoon, once in the evening and once for our last Tico breakfast. The view was magical! They were also very decently priced and good value of meals. Coffee was good! We will always come back to Emilio's!

I greatly liked Emilios. My dive master was raving about this place. So I went. I had 2 glasses of red sangria, seafood casserole, coconut flan and cappuccino. All full of flavor. Service was good. I had a front row seat for the sunset. It began to pour. They opened a cover but left part of the view uncovered. it... More

The daytime view is terrific; night-time is dark and intimate; entertainment in a small intimate restaurant was unexpected and excellent; food was very good, very special; & great desserts. Casual, next door to our hotel but near everything else on the mountaintop. Not expensive; not cheap.

We went for lunch and had delicious salads with seafood. They also have bagels with homemade cream cheese - yum! We were there during a huge party, so our experience was probably a bit different. Staff were hard to come by. But if you're in town for a bit, I definitely recommend trying this place.

Cappuccino brought back memories of Italy. The best hidden thing was the view, we could have stayed for hours.

Don't judge this book by the cover. From the outside the restaurant looks a little shady but when you walk through the door and gaze out over the water you'll be thankful you didn't pass this one by. From start to finish we were taken care of. As a large group travelling to Costa Rica for a wedding we were... More
