Really Love Food

I have a home in Manuel Antonio, so I've eaten a Ngo more than a few times, but after my last trip I felt compelled to say, "OMG this stuff is great!" The fried rice was absolutely killer. The pot stickers were fabulous with some soy sauce laced with hot pepper and of course the wings were... read more

This place makes excellent chinese and thai dishes. They prepare their sauces fresh and it shows in the taste. Great place to eat if you are looking for a reaaa..l casual place or carry out. Other chinese places in town are really inauthentic.

Great little gem with fabulous spring rolls, delicious dumplings & delicious lo mein! Our second experience with this restaraunt and we were very happy with the food & the service. Fast service & good pricing.. Great take-out option when you're in the area..

As I am eating leftovers from Ngo, I decided to write this review. First, I felt the portions are a very good size. Four dishes fed our family of 6 for a meal. (My leftovers are because we ordered more than 4 dishes). The fried rice is really good. The orange is a little spicy. The spicy and sour has... More

I'm used to US portions. Not the case here. The Kung pao had literally had 4 small pieces. All the plates were average sized at best but prices pretty normal. Orange chicken was a little spivey. But, from the Very Expencive food everywhere else, a nice option. And they deliver!

I am constantly amazed at the quality and flavor of all asian dishes prepared at Ngo. The staff and owners are very friendly and everything tastes up to perfection. The springs rolls and the spicy orange chicken are supreme! The also offer specials on the weekends, but I really prefer their excellent traditional menu. Finally, their prices are not just... More

Although the atmosphere leaves much to be desired all is forgiven with the avacado mint smoothie! The Singapore noodles are fantastic and the other dishes we sampled were all great. Two of us had dinner for 21$. The staff are so friendly and warm and even helped us understand the confusing exchange of money from dollars to colones!! All they... More

Eating in Manuel Antonio is quite expensive and mostly unwarranted. this place is a nice little gem on the hill with decent priced large portions and amazing owners. the chicken wings are a meal in itself and AMAZING! probably our favorite so far. I had the vegetarian lo mein noodles. I asked for them spicy and it was! YUM!!! my... More

I had dinner at Ngo a few times during my 3 week visit. You can get take out too. The food is delicious! The place is clean and prices are very reasonable. Also, Susan and Khang (the owners) are very nice! :) Don't let construction fool you. Just a temporary facelift.

We just had a meal at Ngo and oh boy, this was the most tasty, satisfying meal we had in Costa Rica in 10 days. The owner Susan was extremely passionate in the preperation of each and every meal and very friendly. We enjoyed her hospitality and meals very much. In our opinion-a must visit restaurant and very reasonably priced.
