We arrived on a dark and torrenting rain night, and immediately it was as if the sun shone. We were greeted so warmly and enthusiastically, and the food was absolutely fantastic. I wish we could've seen it in daylight, because I'm sure views would;ve been awesome.

We live in Costa Rica. It's not easy getting really good meat at a restaurant. The pork ribs were perfect. So was the beef tenderloin brochette (kabob). It really is cooked over wood and it's fun to see the flames. We went downstairs after eating dinner to listen to the band, dance some salsa and have a drink. If you... More

The food was great. We had the seafood a combination of different seafood and the steak. The atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting.

4 of us ate at La Cantina and we were impressed with the food and drinks! Our waiter was funny and entertaining. They bar-b-que the ribs on an open wood fire-they were outstanding! I would highly recommend La Cantina to eat - we had a great meal!

Food was okay, cost was high. I went here our first night there and we never went back. It cost me $ 105.00 for three of us with the tip.

The smoked grilled ribs were incredible as were the vegetables and the grilled fruit... The beef cuts were first served well done when ordered medium and then rare to replace.. The fired it some more, but the steak had so much grizzle in it you really could not eat it... So it was sent back.. The staff was excellent, cordial... More

We went looking for live music and good food, we found live music. They cook over a large open fire grill which is cool but the food was sub par and pricey. If you must go there, the atmosphere is neat and stick with ribs, it was the best thing our group ordered.
