The food we had was not at all bad, but once the main course had been cleared, all the waiting staff disappeared, despite us trying to catch their attention. In the end my husband went to the till to pay; the lady on the till started to serve him, then turned her attention to a waiter. They also tried to... More

This restaurant was directly across the road from the Coast Verde Hotel. Therefore, it was very convenient. The atmosphere was mostly touristy based but pleaseant and the food was very good although a little pricey for the area.

Nice looking place, but the food was at best bland - huge but tasteless slabs of meat or fish (couldn't taste the BBQ) and mounds of veggies, served with (in the case of the fish at least) disgusting sweet sauces that didn't complement anything on the plate. Service was polite but distant; waiter kept drifting off when we were trying... More

as a gringo,I usually associate bar BQ with beef and pork ribs, pulled pork, chicken accompanied with a signature sauce. Here it simply means grilled meats. We had the baby back ribs. Portions were generous yet only one of the ribs was edible......so much fat on the second made it unappetizing to my taste for lean tender meat that falls... More

Very good quality food.. Had twice dinner here, since we liked the food and the staff. They also have life music, which adds to the fun. Good place to eat and relax

Let me preface this by saying that we are pescatarians (eat fish but no poultry or meat). We ended up here after failing to make it to another restaurant; we arrived hungry and frazzled. The food was good, but service was spotty. Not all the food was brought at the same time. One diner didn't get food until most of... More

Highly recommend pork ribs in La Cantina house-made BBQ, catch of the day and kabobs. Local flavor, very fresh and decent sized meals. Super attentive and friendly staff, great service overall. Amazing live music, and many guests find themselves dancing merengue :) do check this place out, you won't regret!

This is not a cheap restaurant by any means but it is what it is in Manuel Antonio. My wife and I ate here on our first night at Costa Verde and it was pretty good; nice food, reasonable service and some live music added nicely to the atmosphere. However, when we ate here again 2 days later on Jan... More

Went here with my husband and ordered bbq ribs, and let's just say by far the best bbq we've ever had! Great prices. The food was amazing! And the service was great! Two thumbs up!!

For this area, decent BBQ but expensive. The service was very spotty. Our appetizer came before our first round of drinks, white wine was room temperature and we had to get up several times to ask for things (ice, bbq sauce, etc) since our waiter was practically non-existent. Maybe because the restaurant is so huge they don't have enough staff... More
