Great atmosphere and location right across from the beach. Ate with a group of six and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Their ribs are really good too, which is lucky for them since their menu claims they'd be the best I'd ever had. One reviewer mentioned slow service, which is true but not limited to this restaurant. We found restaurant... More

Best food on the beach and comparable prices to other restaurants nearby. It is very close to the beach and the staff are friendly and professional.

This place is right across from a great public beach. Food was good but the service was very slow, because they had just seated a party of 30 people upstairs. This came highly recommended by our nature guide, guess our timing was bad. Also, the World Cup was on TV.

Service was excellent! Tipico breakfast was excellent and the early morning scenery on the beach was excellent. You won't go wrong eating here.

My partner and I stopped in at The Marlin for a cold drink or 3 after a long day in the National Park. We didn't eat here but they have the BEST Sangria in Costa Rica - and trust me, I tried a few! The bartender was really friendly and helped me out when I mispronounced my Spanish. A really... More

My husband and I are vegan, so we explicitly asked if there was meat, dairy or eggs in the black bean soups that we ordered. The waitress spoke very good English and she made clear that the soups were in fact vegan. Upon digging in, we immediately found chunks of red meat. We then tried to give some of our... More

Just stumbled across this place. Looks cosy and it was very calm for a Friday evening. We ordered the ribs with steamed vegetables and baked potatoes and the fish with lemon butter. Sooooo good after a week of rice, chicken and burgers. We both loved this decent meal! Service was great, very friendly and absolutely no rush! We would definitely... More
