We ate here a lot

Our shuttle driver mentioned the Marlin as we drove by it on the way to our hotel next to the park entrance, so we tried it out on our second night in the Manuel Antonio area. The food and service was great and prices reasonable. Portions were plentiful and we always went away stuffed. We searched... read more

If you love great seafood this is the place. We have been here every time on our three trips to Manuel Antonio. We always get their special seafood platter for two. It is around $70 but for that you get lobster, two mahi filets, two tuna fillets, four jumbo shrimp, and sauteed shrimp and calimari. Comes with salad and a... More

We liked that the restaurant was right at the beach, so we could get out of the sun & enjoy a great meal and cold beverage. The seafood special for 2 is highly recommended!

We stopped here for an appetizer and some drinks while we were on the beach. We asked our waiter for 2 waters and 2 beers. He came back with the beers but no waters. We ordered the ceviche and asked for waters again. He came back with the food but we never got our waters. It wasn't a language barrier... More

I can't speak for their food, but the drinks are typical tourist prices. I walked in from the beach thinking I could get some cheaper drinks than the guys hawking them. After going here, I ended up buying stuff to make my own drinks in my thermos. Got 4 drinks for less than the price of one. But back to... More

We had excellent "Casado con Pescado". The grilled Mahi Mahi was outstanding and went perfect with beans, rice, and plaintains. The views of the beach are great, and the atmosphere is lively. Service was very good despite being filled to capacity. I would definitely recommend a stop at Marlin in Manuel Antonio. We'll definitely be back before we leave.

Great food and location. My rule of the is: if the locals eat there and recommend it, it's good. We had the Mariscada for 2 (jumbo shrimp, mahi mahi, fried calamari, grilled tuna) and a couple of drinks. Service was great and it was reasonably priced. Will definitely return!

My group stopped here for dinner by chance...It was delicious! I had the pasta with vegetables in a light cream sauce. The sauce was not heavy or tasted calorie laden. It was light and creamy. The veggies still had some crunch to them. Everyone at our table said how delicious their meals were too. It was so good, I had... More

I'm sorry that I do not have the names of dishes or photos. but TRUST, it was DELICIOUS! so good that we forgot to take photos! There were 7 of us for lunch and we shared a pitcher of sangria, ceviche, fried calamari, and tuna that was served with a dill spread and toasted bread. No one had any complaints.... More

I enjoyed them so much I went back twice to have more! I meant to try and pick them apart to try recreate them at home but they were too good. All the mexican food in this place seemed to get the thumbs up from our group. It is a handy location with the supermarket next door too if you... More
