My boyfriend and I ordered nachos from El Sol and wow was it good! the place we spotless and beautiful with a great nighttime view. I even had a good friend of the owner come up to me and sing me a song about costa rica! The owners of El Sol are truly wonderful people and I can not thank... More

We were really in a pinch one evening and couldn't find any vegan food in our hotel or any restaurant close by. Everything was closing at 9 pm and it was 8 pm! We were hungry. Through happy cow we came across this restaurant being veg friendly - so we called them and asked them what time they closed, and... More

After a great day at the park we were looking around for a place to quench our thirst and stopped in here. While sipping on our drinks, we noticed the specials board and noticed they had fresh lobster and whole red snapper, both of which I had wanted to try since I got here. Couldn't decide which to get when... More

This was our favorite restaurant in Manuel Antonio--so much so we went several times. The guacamole and picodegallo salsa are amazing! My kids who don't normally like that stuff, loved it. The prices are reasonable, drinks are good, and everyone was satisfied with their food. They even have American style kids' meals like mini corn dogs. I split the fish... More

Enjoyed great drinks (2for1) while it rained watching the ocean! It was the absolute best ahi tuna! Thank you for a great time!

While visiting Manual Antonio, either after the national park jungle tours and or enjoying the beautiful beach and other available amenities, El Sol provides service of great food and drinks at the restaurant as well as hand delivered to your side while lounging on the beach. Makes the day complete.

People keep saying Costa Rica isn't known for their food but this place is really good! It looks unsuspecting, I mean it's a place you can order a bucket of beer, but the meal I had there might have been the best I've had in Costa Rica. It's nothing fancy, just good traditional Costa Rican food with amazing flavor. We... More

watched some world cup games here and I thought the prices were very good for the area. Buckets of beer and and food while having the only second story view of Manuel Antonio beach. Great place for sunset and sports

As the sun set over the ocean, my husband and I enjoyed smoothies to cool off after being on the beach all afternoon. The open air 2nd floor seating was really nice. Great view! We couldn't stay for dinner, but I've heard the seafood is excellent.

Good service, better food, lovely scenery. Loved the cerviche and fish tacos. Recommended by the La Posada staff.
