Good food. Friendly Service

We ate a few times at El Sol. The location was convenient to the beach and not too far of a walk from our hotel, La Posada. It was here that I was first introduced to Cascados. Yummy! Wholesome ingredients and plenty of it. Prices were reasonable too. We took advantage of Happy Hour and their... read more

Many people suggested we eat here. The time we went to eat there, the upstairs was so hot that we got carryout. The nachos were good. The seafood pasta was good. Ribs were ok-not a good thing for carryout.

Ate here after a mid afternoon arrival, had a great tuna burger which was cooked to perfection and served with fresh avocado and tomato in a bun. We shared hot wings and they were also great. Servic could have been more attentive but food was amazing.

Quiet little restaurant with a good view of the beach. The fish tacos were great with good happy hour drink specials.

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much at El Sol we made it a point to eat there more than once. Had a fabulous combo plate one night with fresh tuna, mahi mahi and sea bass. What a great place to sit back, relax and watch the day wind down over the ocean. Looking forward to returning next year.

this was reviewed highly and recommended by our hotel, but we were disappointed. The mixed salad was sadly lacking in ingredients, and the mahi mahi was dry and tasteless. We sat facing out to the street, which was pleasant, and those chairs were padded and quite comfy.

The food is fresh, the drinks are cold, and the view is beautiful. This is on the second story of a building, so it's a little tricky to find, but definitely worth the hunt.

We walked to this place after spending a few hours on the beach. It was clean and the service was quick. We sat and looked out over the beach and boardwalk while enjoying our delicious meals and smoothies. Would definitely recommend!

We at there for one night to get away from our expensive Hotel Parador dinner prices. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. The quality was outstanding. My wife had the best mojito she ever had there. The ceviche and fish were both done very well. Wait staff was very good. They were very attentive and showed interest in us.

On our second visit to this restaurant, we asked the manager what he would recommend. He said to try the whole, fried, red snapper with prawns and garlic sauce. During the next week, we ordered this three times it was so amazing! But we did have to ask for the garlic sauce and it is part of what makes this... More
