This restaurant is right across the street from Playa Espadilla. Get the beach view seating on the second floor - gorgeous! We both got the typical Costa Rican casado dinner here, which was delicious. The prices were unbeatable, too. We went on a less crowded night and had a few people stop us outside, trying to help us park our... More

We had a fine tuna steak with fresh salad and a well seasoned arroz con mariscos with really good fruit batido at reasonable prices for this place. From the first floor you can enjoy the awesome colors of the sunset. The restaurant may be crowded on the weekends.

We ate here 3 times during December and were very impressed, the steaks in mushroom sauce were big, juicy and by local standards very good value. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Would definitely eat there again

It's in Manuel Antonio village by the beach, above a supermarket and screens filled with sports (not an advantage for us!) but we went because of the great trip advisor reviews and weren't disappointed. The fresh tuna steak with soy sauce and wasabi was very big and delicious and the beef Casado was excellent - juicy steak and tasty. Excellent... More

Our tour guide recommended this place for dinner after a day at Manuel Antonio. It's difficult to find parking although that is a common theme in this area. A gentleman on the side of the road " let us" park in the dirt parking lot right next door and offered to "watch" our car for us. (For a few colones... More

Heading to the town beach in Manuel Antonio after a morning tour of the jungle, we were accosted by an EXTREMELY outgoing Tican gentleman in plaid shorts, striped polo shirt and a large stripe of green zinc oxide across his cheeks and nose. My daughter had forewarned us that she had regularly been approached by this gentleman, "Butch," on previous... More

We were able to hang out here and watch SNF. The casados are good. Beer cold. This is near the park and across from the beach so a good spot for people watching. Reasonable prices too!

We watched the rematch between Costa Rica & Uraguay here & had a great meal. Lots of fun with the excitement of the game. You can sit by the open area overlooking the sidewalk & people watch.

El Sol was recommended to us by a local as a place to watch the Costa Rica / Uruguay re-match. Was an awesome game, Costa Rica winning in the second set of penalty kicks, place went nuts. Food and beer reasonably priced, to be honest I remember more of the game than the quality of the food. I tend to... More

Our family had lunch her and it was good but a little pricier than other places in Manuel Antonio but still reasonable. The only bad thing is parking is very limited. We had to pay someone that claimed territory to that part of the public parking on the street $4. to park. This occurs all around the part area, you... More
