Read rave reviews about Villas Nicholas here on TA and was glad that this was an option within walking distance of our hotel (La Mariposa). We weren't disappointed! The setting was quaint and quiet and romantic (we visited during the green season, we practically had the place to ourselves). The food was well priced, freshly prepared, pleasing to eye -... More

My husband and I love food. Villas Nicholas has the BEST dinner you will ever have in the Manuel Antonio area. This place is so secluded, that you wouldn't know it was even there. But it is surely worth the stop! The service is amazing and the food is even better. Very nice for a date night or the entire... More

We stayed in Manuel Antonio for a week and this was one of only two restaurants where we ate more than once. I am not sure why it doesn't seem to be as well known as many of the other area restaurants, because we liked it better than anywhere else we ate. We had the same waitress both times and... More

This is a small place, rather obscure, but the food is SPOT ON DEEEEELICIOUS!!! This place was recommended to us by a local. I had the Surf & Surf......YUMMMMMO!!!!!!!! The fresh seafood was so flavorful. I could easily eat here for every dinner! Oh and the drinks are excellent as well (one of the best caipirinhas I've ever had). DO... More

We chose this place purely based on the reviews on Tripadvisor, and I don't really get where the excellent reviews were coming from, we both felt the food was maybe a little above average, certainly nothing to rave about. The atmosphere is nice, lots of greenery around and an intimate setting with about 6 tables or so (the restaurant is... More

We all loved this restaurant! A group of 8 with 4 teenagers...the waiter was great! We enjoyed the cocktails, appetizers and delicious dinner in an intimate setting surrounded by lush plants. Dessert should not be missed. Thanks to the chef for accommodating severe food allergies, it was really appreciated! This was a truly enjoyable last supper in Costa Rica!

This tiny restaurant provided us with our best meal during our stay in Manuel Antonio. We had a steak dish and a mahi mahi dish, both delicious!! This was also a great value, not as pricey as some other places we ate, but much more authentic and delicious.Great friendly service. Estella, our guide for our tour of MA recommended it... More

This is a small and intimate restaurant with a friendly staff and pretty good food! We ordered two appetizers, two entrées, and two drinks and our meal cost around $85. The steak was cooked just right and the mahi mahi was tasty.

This was hands down the best restaurant we ate at in Quepos. So much, that we went there two nights in a row knowing we wouldn't find better than Villas Nicholas. The food is amazing and cooked right behind you by the chef on an outdoor grill that is inclosed in a brick kitchen area. Very quaint and limited seating,... More
