Delicious! If we had tried Rico Tico earlier in our week-long stay, we would have gone back many more times. It was suggested to us the night before by a server at Si Como No, a restaurant next door owned by the same company. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. The chef went out of his... More

Just back from Costa Rica and had great experiences and meals at Rico Tico Bar and Grill. We were staying at Si Como No, and had breakfast here every day, and dinner here twice, plus enjoyed many of the amazing drinks made by the excellent staff. Julio, Joel, Ronald, Francisco and all were so kind and attentive, and made beautiful... More

The chefs specials are usually good, we tried it 3 times and enjoyed, the other food was good quality, but the bill every time made us think we better go somewhere else since you get the similar quality and views at el avion or agua azul with 20-30% less cost

My family and I were just driving by saw the Interesting name. We did'nt have any idea what or where it was. After walking down this heavily lush trial we ended up at the restaurant and boy were we pleasantly surprised. All the tables were outside, so we grabbed one at the end of the deck and boy what an... On our honeymoon in Manuel Antonio. There was a general power outage that left most of the restaurants near our hotel closed. Not only was Rico Tico's open, there was a 2-for-1 mojito special (excellent mojitos, too) and lunch was affordable and delicious! We had the freshly made pico de gallo and chips and the grilled fish salad. All was... More

After having our fill of Costa Rican food we wanted something a little more traditional for our palates. Rico Tico had the best chicken nuggets my small children had ever eaten...fresh not processed. The service was great, and the views of the ocean could not be beat. The restaurant is part of a hotel (which we didn't know when we... More

Ate here after dark. Just arrived in town hungry and tired and wandered in. Nothing special, except for the bill. The most expensive meal we had in Costa Rica, and we didn't even have drinks! The server was very nice.

We've been to CR 4 times now, and we've always stayed a portion of our trips at Si Como No. Part of the reason we do that is for the ease of hanging at the pool, and enjoying Rico Tico... even though the iguana, Whiskey, is no longer there we have a new buddy iguana, Chicken Little, to spend time... Was there with wife and kids. Very nice welcome but soooo expensive for what they serve: spaghettis, tortillas, meat or fish. Large portions though which is good after a day of hiring. If you go try the home made ice creams. So all in, nothing extraordinary but all well prepared and cooked. Rip off. Too bad. And remember that all... More

Rico Tico translates into rich CostaRican. Not many tico's eating here. Good food, view, service, but suffers from ManuelAntonio-itis. That's a restaurant owner's disease rampant in ManuelAnt. Symptoms are if we have an ocean view and are part of a hotel, we must charge 75% more then what the dinner is really worth--even if it's after sunset which in CR... More
