Fast, attentive service. Everyone was friendly and informative and the food was lovely (however, considering the high prices, I wasn't sure weather we'd gotten our money's worth). The seats were a little uncomfortable as they were wooden and had no cushion or cover but overall it was a lovely meal!

Dear Zoe M’ We appreciate you recognized our great service and the friendly and informative wait staff besides the great food offered at the Rico Tico Bar & Grill. The place is a little dated and run down. It is right next to the pool and looks like more of a pool patio food place than a real restaurant. Decent chips and salsa.

Dear David Va 999, Thank you for your review, however I have to admit this was quite out of the norm considering the consistent reviews and guest surveys highlighting our great menu and value, award winning architecture, and unique tropical boutique atmosphere of the Rico Tico Pool Bar on the jungle terraces overlooking the Manuel Antonio coastline. Sincerely, Jim Damalas... More

Great food and wonderful staff! We had lunch overlooking the beach on Sunday afternoon! The guacamole was the best and tuna was delicious! Thank you!

We were only here for happy hour, had the 2x1 happy hour drinks. The weakest drinks we have ever had....it was like they watered down the alcohol and then watered down the drinks some more. Not worth the price at all. It has a decent view, but we were there in a downpour so it all just seemed rather dark... More

Dear Kiki_19, We first want to apologies to discover you found our popular Happy Hour a disappointment. With our policy of offering a full once + on every cocktail, and two cocktails for the price of one, we find that after so many years of “happy” Happy Hour customers, we fell short of the mark. Rest assured we tried to... More

Delicious! If we had tried Rico Tico earlier in our week-long stay, we would have gone back many more times. It was suggested to us the night before by a server at Si Como No, a restaurant next door owned by the same company. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. The chef went out of his... More

Just back from Costa Rica and had great experiences and meals at Rico Tico Bar and Grill. We were staying at Si Como No, and had breakfast here every day, and dinner here twice, plus enjoyed many of the amazing drinks made by the excellent staff. The chefs specials are usually good, we tried it 3 times and enjoyed, the other food was good quality, but the bill every time made us think we better go somewhere else since you get the similar quality and views at el avion or agua azul with 20-30% less cost

Dear Evquenj I, We were pleased you enjoyed the special menus at the Rico Tico or Claro Que Seafood Grills, but I believe it’s hard for us to compete with our Chef’s recipes regarding pricing if you are comparing us to the particular local menus you pointed out. Perhaps had you understood that we use farm to table ingredients that... More

My family and I were just driving by saw the Interesting name. We did'nt have any idea what or where it was. On our honeymoon in Manuel Antonio. There was a general power outage that left most of the restaurants near our hotel closed. Not only was Rico Tico's open, there was a 2-for-1 mojito special (excellent mojitos, too) and lunch was affordable and delicious! We had the freshly made pico de gallo and chips and the grilled fish salad. All was... More

After having our fill of Costa Rican food we wanted something a little more traditional for our palates. Rico Tico had the best chicken nuggets my small children had ever eaten...fresh not processed.
