I went to the Rico Tico for lunch and had a wonderful time. I was travelling alone and the view and soft bossa nova music was the ideal spot to read and enjoy a couple of sangrias. The fish salad was very nice and the brownie was dessert was out of this world. Value was it was average, but you... More

View is incredible! The food was just okay, nothing out of the ordinary. Rico Tico serves the standard Costa Rican fare but there are Soda's that are much better in taste, quality and value. I thought this restaurant was well overpriced for what you get. The waitress was somewhat unforgiving that our Spanish was not perfect and failed to see... More

We went to Rico Tico for lunch and had the fish tacos and drink special.. Wow! The food was so full of flavor and the drinks were spot on. The service was excellent and the view couldn't have been better. We plan on returning for sure!

This past week I returned to Rico Tico, a lovely place I have been coming to whenever I visit Costa Rica - at least once a year for more than fifteen years. Each time the service is excellent, the food is good and the view is sensational. This time I brought my seventeen year old granddaughter for her first trip... More

Fast, attentive service. Everyone was friendly and informative and the food was lovely (however, considering the high prices, I wasn't sure weather we'd gotten our money's worth). The seats were a little uncomfortable as they were wooden and had no cushion or cover but overall it was a lovely meal!

The place is a little dated and run down. It is right next to the pool and looks like more of a pool patio food place than a real restaurant. Decent chips and salsa.

Dear David Va 999, Thank you for your review, however I have to admit this was quite out of the norm considering the consistent reviews and guest surveys highlighting our great menu and value, award winning architecture, and unique tropical boutique atmosphere of the Rico Tico Pool Bar on the jungle terraces overlooking the Manuel Antonio coastline. Sincerely, Jim Damalas... More

We were only here for happy hour, had the 2x1 happy hour drinks. The weakest drinks we have ever had....it was like they watered down the alcohol and then watered down the drinks some more. Not worth the price at all. It has a decent view, but we were there in a downpour so it all just seemed rather dark... More

Dear Kiki_19, We first want to apologies to discover you found our popular Happy Hour a disappointment. With our policy of offering a full once + on every cocktail, and two cocktails for the price of one, we find that after so many years of “happy” Happy Hour customers, we fell short of the mark. Rest assured we tried to... More

Delicious! If we had tried Rico Tico earlier in our week-long stay, we would have gone back many more times. It was suggested to us the night before by a server at Si Como No, a restaurant next door owned by the same company. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. The chef went out of his... More
