I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor when I was looking for places to eat on our trip, and it was across the street from our hotel. On first impression, we wished we'd booked this hotel instead of ours!! We went for lunch with our kids, and they were very accommodating. Fresh juice has become standard, but it's still such... We visited The Falls restaurant for dinner after experiencing an incredible lunch at the end of our zip line tour with El Santuario Canopy Tours. When we complimented them on the lunch, we were told that the chef also works at The Falls (same owner)… we knew we HAD to dine at The Falls for dinner… we were not disappointed.... More

in all fairness, we ate here late at night on a tuesday in rainy season, and nobody goes to Costa Rica for the gastronomy--they go for the climate and wildlife. having said that, we got the crumbed/tempura'd shrimp with dips and two burgers with accompaniments and sides. the shrimp came with two creamy dips--one chili-spicy and one horseradish [?] and... Decent value on the menu compared to other places, food is good, not great so dont expect extravagance. Good burger, mahi mahi, and chicken. Sweet potato chips are great though. And portion sizes are hood. Shrimp taco needs to go back to the drawing board though.

I had a superb lunch there, it was hard to see it and only knew about it because my companion had stayed at the Falls resort on a previous trip

Relatively short menu but everything is cooked very well so there is no desire for additional options. We stayed at The Falls Resort and had breakfast at the cafe everyday during our weeklong stay. We also ate lunch twice at the cafe. Between two people, we tried as much as we could. Good selection of local seafood. The traditional Costa... More

Last night we went to The Falls hotel and started with cocktails in their beautiful garden. We went in to their beautiful open air restaurant where we were greeted as family and served Cerviche with crispy plantain chips that was straight from heaven. We then ordered a variety of dishes including seared tuna, beef tenderloin, pork tenderloin with peppercorn sauce,... More

I visit this place almost every time I am in the area as I consider it to be one of the best overall dining places in all of Manuel Antonio Everything is always wonderful, What really sets this place apart is the service, our server knew  all about food and drinks. We stopped here for lunch and it was outstanding! A cute little poolside restaurant that didn't have the ocean views of its neighbors, but the food was phenomenal and the service was great. Also, it was a plus to be out of the sun for a bit. We had the shrimp tacos and Tipico. Both were soooo delicious, as were... More
