I believe I just had the best fish taco of my life! It was so full of flavor! A tiny spot, there's seating inside and out. The major thing that turned me off was the owner's girlfriend was working the register and sneezed into her hand. I kept an eye on her to see if she touched any food. Sure... More

If you're looking for good, fresh, authentic and reasonably priced Mexican food while in and around Manual Antonio National Park in Costa Rica, Sancho's is your place. We sort of stumbled upon it and now it is our main eating place when we're in the area. We look forward to it after a long day at the beach and working... More

Visited Costa Rica and fell upon Sanchos. The small quint restaurant has great food, the couple that owns it are very friendly and take a lot of pride in their business. I would definitely recommend Sanchos to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio

Did not care for this place - food not great and prices not that reasonable. We were looking for good, cheap restaurants and this one had good reviews - but not sure what they were rating.

Very friendly couple. Food was fresh and more than we could finish. Good for lunch, not a romantic spot. Very good food.

I like this place for the takeaway when we stay in Manuel Antonio. They make great tacos and buritos. You can make them customize it to your taste (more or less sauce, spicy or not, remove the onion...). The prices are very reasonable and the quality is reliable.

We enjoyed a casual meal at Sancho's. The owners were very personable and provided good food. It was a nice change of pace from the hotel (although very good) food.

We ate here twice for lunch because we enjoyed the food so much. The owners use very fresh ingredients and everything was delicious. While the food is excellent, just be aware that it is not a "dining" experience, in that the tables are out in front of the restaurant - only a few feet from the main drag. But while... More

Sanchos is a little hole in the wall taco restaurant that you might otherwise pass by. They are worth the stop. The food is fresh. The owner and chef is American. My husband had a taco platter is different types of tacos and beans and rice. My daughter had a tacitos platter with rice and beans. I had two chicken... More
