We only ended up at Raphael's because I asked the front desk at our hotel to point us toward the closest, downhill restaurant that was open at that time (about 3:30 on a Sunday). There were 8 of us and we were immediately thrilled when we walked into Raphael's. The view was great, the atmosphere was really relaxed and we... More

We went to Rafael's to watch the sun set and have dinner. We arrived early and no one pushed us to order while we drank our beer and enjoyed the view. The kids enjoyed Dosty and Carmelo, the owners dogs (expect to see dogs in many MA restaurants), who wander the restaurant but are not a nuisance. They also had... More

Go here, you won't be dissapointed. Come for happy hour cocktails while the sunsets and stay for dinner. A little overpriced, like I found a lot of restaurants in Manuel Antonio/Quepos to be, but when they are all expensive look for the good ones. Raphael's is a good one. Get the Tuna, order it rare!

The service was great. Our waiter helped us book a last mintue tour that was booked but he made it happen! The food was great and this restaurant has an amazing view.

Comfortable, reasonable. Service was great. Margaritas were great, top shelf tequila. Had the tuna sashimi, lightly seared fresh yellow fin, delicious. Wanted some shrimp and the (owner?) was very accommodating by adding some to our entree of whole fried snapper. Yum. Great view. Nice break from the resort atmosphere.

The food and staff here are amazing. We started out with Happy hour drinks. 2 for 1. Great deal, then we had a couple appetizers. I recommend the Shrimp cocktail and ceviche. The Shrimp are huge and the ceviche very tasty and fresh. I then had the Mahi Mahi Cosado meal. So good and plenty of food to share. One... More

This restaurant had been highly recommended. What a big disappointment! Worst meal while in Manuel Antonio. Service was nice, but very slow. Definitely skip...there are much better options.

This was our family's first meal in Manuel Antonio and what a great first impression they made! They have the friendliest staff and offer excellent customer service! The seafood we had was delicious! The people here make this place special and they treat you as if you are very special to them. They are locally owned and operated by some... More

This was actually our last stop on our way out of town...recommended by our B&B hostess. We wish we had found it earlier during our stay. The view is amazing! We both ordered fish tacos for lunch. You're able to watch the cook make them fresh and the service is incredibly friendly. Lunch happy hour from 11-4 while we were... More
