Amazing view, great seafood

We went to watch the sunset and we were not disappointed. The views are great, the service is very good, and our food was fresh and delish. We ordered a couple of mojitos, and the seafood platter for two. The platter had a gorgeous lobster, huge shrimp, tuna steak, red snapper, and some potatoes... read more

When come on our annual trip to Costa Rica love to splurge and enjoy the views of the magnificent Manuel Antonio Coastline. Raphael's Terrazas is a great place for a meal with sublime views over beautiful rocky islands down below, great food, and owner/staff who are committed to customer satisfaction. This time we were delighted to learn they have added... More

We went to this place recommended by the Hotel in Manuel Antonio. It was nice, food was well done, but it was nothing special and would not be worth going back. We went after the sunset so we could not experience the view that everyone is raving about. We tried the sushi, mainly for curiosity. It was just OK, the... More

Our hotel recommended Raphael's Terrazas for dinner and we came away thinking that it was a pretty average experience. First the positive: our waiter Freddy couldn't have been friendlier, accommodating all of our special requests when ordering. He really tried hard to please us. Another positive was the fact that the food was served pretty quickly, which isn't always the... More

what more could you want. I was in the area for three nights and ate here two times (one dinner, one lunch). Super nice staff (one of the reasons why i came back). The mahi mahi was very good and they do a nice cerviche (probably prefer chips as the side vs the fried plantains, but they were interesting). Next... More

We eat here every time we are in the Manuel Antonio area! More than once usually! Truly one of our favorite places. The food is excellent and the staff are the best you'll find! My favorite dishes are the mahi-mahi, the tuna or the sea bass! I would recommend this restaurant to everybody! Can't wait to go back next year!... More

We spent three nights in March, 2015 on Manuel Antonio Road. The hotel we were staying at recommended Raphael's Terrazas to us the first night. So, we went there. My husband, who is an excellent chef, ordered the one of the tuna dishes. It came in a ginger-wasabi sauce. He promptly pronounced it one of the best tuna dishes he... More

Our party of 8 ate here. Nothing to write home about. Great views but the food was average. Service was good. Nothing bad but just not special and when we spend over 300 dollars I expect special

This place is full of interesting contexts-- the food was good, very good: I had the whole red snapper which was delicious. But they were out of several items on the menu.. The goofy thing is the seating which is somewhat uncomfortable. Chairs sat on gravel were uneven. I would go back-- knowing what I know now, i would be... More

We were recommended by a tour guide to try this restaurant. The view was amazing as was the choice of food and service. Traditional Costa Rican food, sushi and delicious fish tacos. Well worth a visit for lunch or dinner. The sunset would be amazing
