Very broad menu, you can watch the sun set or have dinner and drinks. The service was excellent and left nothing to be desired. This is a must try!

The view is amazing. The sets at 6:15 or so and the view from the restaurant is incredible so get there at 5:30 or so. Food was great and the service was among the best we had during our entire trip. Super friendly and attentive.

The restaurants sits on top of the hill looking out over Playa Espadilla (the beach at Manuel Antonio). The seafood is quite good and the service is very friendly. Raphael's is a great place to grab a bite and enjoy the scenery.

We went for dinner, a large group of 11, in the late evening - sat outside for good drinks (specially the Guaropinha made with local guaro liquor), and great seafood, specially the whole fried snapper. The owner's chocolate lab sat with us, mooching a couple of tid bits here and there... very nice evening overall. Bring LOTS of insect repellent,... More

Have been living in Costa Rica for four years and have visited Raphaels many many times and never been let down. The location is stunning and a happy hour cocktail whilst you watch the sunset is a real must. The menu has an empahsis on simple fresh food..Red Snapper, Tuna, Calamari and excellent seafood soups and Tico Paella are all... More

We only ended up at Raphael's because I asked the front desk at our hotel to point us toward the closest, downhill restaurant that was open at that time (about 3:30 on a Sunday). There were 8 of us and we were immediately thrilled when we walked into Raphael's. The view was great, the atmosphere was really relaxed and we... More

We went to Rafael's to watch the sun set and have dinner. We arrived early and no one pushed us to order while we drank our beer and enjoyed the view. The kids enjoyed Dosty and Carmelo, the owners dogs (expect to see dogs in many MA restaurants), who wander the restaurant but are not a nuisance. They also had... More

Go here, you won't be dissapointed. Come for happy hour cocktails while the sunsets and stay for dinner. A little overpriced, like I found a lot of restaurants in Manuel Antonio/Quepos to be, but when they are all expensive look for the good ones. Raphael's is a good one. Get the Tuna, order it rare!

The service was great. Our waiter helped us book a last mintue tour that was booked but he made it happen! The food was great and this restaurant has an amazing view.

Comfortable, reasonable. Service was great. Margaritas were great, top shelf tequila. Had the tuna sashimi, lightly seared fresh yellow fin, delicious. Wanted some shrimp and the (owner?) was very accommodating by adding some to our entree of whole fried snapper. Yum. Great view. Nice break from the resort atmosphere.
