Our family of five decided to try this restaurant because we were staying at Los Altos. We received our food over an hour and a half after ordering; we only got our food because I complained to staff about the wait. The fish was overcooked and mediocre at best. Two other couples sitting near us also were disgusted with the... More

We just had dinner at Karolas on Wed, April 2, 2014. The tuna tartare appetizer was excellent! HOWEVER, Out of 9 dinners ordered, only 3 were decent.(BUT NOT GREAT) The fisherman platter for two, fish was overcooked and not edible. THE LOBSTER, SHRIMP, MUSSELS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. The chicken sandwiches were overcooked. My grandson ordered a hamburger, which was burnt. Then... More

The Chef is excellent and the menu is mouth watering with local flare. You cant beat the open air atmosphere overlooking the ocean. Staff is first class and always smiling. Cant wait to be back here!

We enjoyed two dinners at this restaurant (we stayed at the hotel where it is located). Beautiful open air setting overlooking the pool and the ocean in the distance. Attentive staff and good food. We enjoyed fish both times. Had an excellent Greek salad. Not too busy so no need to worry about reservations.

WOW! What an experience! We were recently visiting the area for a wedding and we stayed at The Preserve at Los Altos Resort. The views are spectacular. The resort was amazing. Breakfast was included with our stay. Typically you don't know what to get with a continental breakfast. However, the breakfast at Karolas Restaurant included an omelet station, fresh fruit,... More

I dined here with my family and everything we ordered was wonderful. Most outstanding were the eggplant zucchini tower for an appetizer and the tuna and tenderloin entrees. The restaurant itself is so beautiful and open to the tropical surroundings. The high ceilings give it an expansive feel. The service was wonderful as well. We have been coming to this... More

We are a laid back family and were here 10 years ago and loved it. Now, it's very fancy with prices to match. The food was good, but not enough so to match the price. The service however was excellent.

This used to be a charming, if not buggy, little place in the jungle with good food. Now it looks like California...all sleek with a very distant view and mega condos (so ugly) behind it...but the worst part was a very pungent and awful smell and we could not find out what it was...cleaning stuff or what? We should have... More
