We went to El Wagon twice during our 6 day stay. We had great pizza there one night, and got carry-out the next. Both were great. LOTS of pizza toppings. Highly recommend.

Lots of great places to eat in the neighborhood, so pass on Wagon. Food was so-so. Burgers OK and pizza over-rated, but service was terrible. Disorganized and uncharacteristically rude for Costa Rica. Every other table was served before us, even though we ordered first. Took 20 min just to get water and had to ask twice. No apologies.

The process of waiting in line for 30 minutes to pay your bill just kills any other good things that happen. Surely you can bring the bill to the table. Get someone good in charge here.

This restaurant was across the road from Costa Verde. The drinks were always cold, food was fresh and Caesar took good care of us. Something on the menu for every one to enjoy. Watching the FIFA World Cup on TV as Costa Rica played Greece at El Wagon are happy memories. :-)

The service here was really, really poor. The pizza was good when we finally got to have some though.

Being natives of New Jersey, my wife and I are very picky when it comes to pizza. Who knew you could get outstanding thin crust pizza in Costa Rica. Thin, crispy, and very tasty. The atmosphere was also great!

One of our nights in Manuel Antonio, we took a walk a few minutes down the road from our hotel (Si Como No) to El Wagon. Our son was in the mood for Pizza and we'd heard this was pretty good. We were delighted in our choice! We were seated in large open-air dining room (plenty of roof which we... More

Our family, including three kids, stopped at El Wagon after spending the day at Manuel Antonio. By this point, we were tired and hungry and not in the mood for anything complicated - parking was easy, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the food and drinks were tasty and not too expensive. I believe that the 12 inch pizzas were about... More

My family of six ate here our first night in Costa Rica. The pizza was very thin crust with very little tomato sauce, and they don't use Mozzarella cheese. It was ok, but it did not compare to American pizza. The burgers and fries were pretty good. They were a little busy the night we went so service was a... More

They have a real pizza wood oven outside plus an old train car to eat in. We went 3 times there for lunch and supper. Wonderful service, perfect food and eals. Lunch Hot dog and beer 5 bucks cant beat that. Again the service day and night was AWESOME from the owner/manager guy to his new trainee manager. Very polite,... More
