Pizza was descent. Good ingredients but a lack of flavor in the sauce. Service is similar to most places-weak. Prices are pretty expensive compared to US standards. Tip is always included as a service charge at 10% which is low, but it is probably why the service level is equal to the charge. I'd rather tip 20% and get good... More

Fair price, fair food. The pizza is not amazing but is a place to eat that will not disappoint. The place is really nice and calm.

Cute little place we found by accident. We sat at a table with rocking chairs! Pizza was excellent, kids really enjoyed it. They make it in a woodfire oven right in front of restaurant. Monkeys in the trees above you. We had excellent, fast service. Kids wanted to go back again! Great character and charm.

We thought El Wagon had a very nice atmosphere with the lighting, view, and wooden rocking chairs. The pizza was good, however the service was terrible. It seemed there were only two waiters for the whole place and they were running around the whole time, so it was difficult to get their attention if you needed something.

This place has the best pizza you will find in Manuel Antonio for a reasonable price. They have a variety of fresh toppings and a delicious crispy thin crust. The pizza is made to order right in front of you in their outdoor wood fired oven. Always quick & delicious!

Kind of a tourist destination, which I try to avoid during out-of-the-way vacations like Costa Rica. However, this place had a great, welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. Only tried the ribs but they were some of the best I've ever had. Not a cheap dinner though.

We only went to El Wagon once, but wish we had gone more. My wife and I enjoyed a delicious wood-fired pizza, with a thin, crispy crust, and the kids (14 & 9) were satisfied with their hamburgers. Not to knock the food--pizzas, wraps, and sandwiches, but the atmosphere was even better. While the restaurant is easily located with its... More

We ate at El Wagon mid August 2014. It was good. Our order included: Ham Pizza - Good fire grilled taste and made for good leftovers says my wife Cheeseburger - Good, ordered it medium and it was definitely on the darker side of pink. Chicken Pesto - Just okay, says my brother Fish Wrap - Pretty good says my... More

Based on reviews, we decided to try this place. Bland tasting pizza that was soggy and average nachos. Barba Roja has incredible food and the best chicken and black bean nachos I have had. If you like bland, soggy pizza and service with an attitude that is sub par, this is your place. Not for me! This place and Victoria's... More
