International Gourmet

Both the food and service where exquisite. The menu had many options and during my stay at the hotel I got the chance to taste many of them: each one better than the other. The type of food is international gourmet and very well executed. Besides they where very flexible to alter the dishes if... read more

This is located at the Arenas Del Mar hotel. Great location on the bluff above the beach with views of the beach all the way to Manuel Antonio national park. Open air restaurant with outside seating along the pool. Good service and dependable food. Had the sea bass the other night and it was fresh and delicious

We had one of the more creative meals of our trip here. The zucchini rolls were great (small), as was the Tuna tataki. The fish special was also very nice. Amazing service by Carlo. We heard and saw an armadillo as well as a raccoon in the garden behind us after dark, which was nice.

The food and service were excellent. We stuck with their seafood and had great meals. We had Tuna, Sea Bass and Snook. Each was fantastic served with Asian based vegetables. For breakfast I had their Tico breakfast special. Eggs, fried cheese, Chileros sauce, black beans and corn tortillas. Beer and wine was a bit pricey, but food and service was... More

I cannot imagine going anywhere else for a meal, especially if staying at Arenas del Mar. Gourmet food with impeccable, friendly service in a beautiful setting. There were so many choices that I had something different each time. El Mirador is open for breakfast (spectacular views of the ocean and wildlife, too!) and dinner (covered, but open air - lovely... I have stayed at Arenas del Mar several times. It is the perfect get away vacation spot to get rest, relaxation, sun, and serenity. And every time I'm there I look around for good dinner spots, but I always end up back on the property of Arenas del Mar enjoying the comfort and cuisine of El Mirador. This restaurant has... More

Breakfast, lunch and dinner here was an amazing experience. The food is the freshest and they bring you a fresh fruit plate with the most exotic fruits I normally would not have even tried. Everything just feels locally sourced and right of the tree, because it is. The breakfast options were plentiful and dinner always had a fresh catch and... More
