Description: El Mirador Restaurant is located near Arenas del Mar's reception area and pool, overlooking Espadilla Beach, Manuel Antonio National Park, and the Pacific Ocean. El Mirador—which means “the viewpoint” in Spanish—has an open air, covered interior dining area and outdoor seating. Along with breathtaking views and gorgeous sunsets, our restaurant serves breakfast and dinner using fresh, local ingredients. Start your day with our complimentary breakfast: fresh fruits, homemade granola, warm muffins and breads, eggs, pancakes and of course, Costa Rican coffee. Our dinner menu includes highlights such as locally caught fish and other delicacies at this authentic full-service Costa Rican restaurant.

The whole restaurant is in a beautiful resort. The treck down there was an experience in itself, a golf cart had to pick us up and take us up a fairly large hill in the forest to get to the hidden resort/restaurant. Once we got there, the cocktails were to die for. I was in a group of 6 girls... More

Ate here five times over the course of a week-long vacation, so tried nearly everything on the menu between myself and girlfriend. Everything was consistently good...tasty, fresh, perfect portions. Excellent service contributed to good experience.

This is the main restaurant of the expensive Arenas del Mar Resort but is open to other diners - and we see from another review, also delivers meals in the area. As a non- resident diner, the experience begins with a pretty steep downwards road by taxi or car. You then arrive at the resort's first reception area - an... More

I would highly recommend this place for any type of eater, but especially for a vegetarian. We had a slight problem finding any tasty vegetarian food other than pizza or pasta at most other restaurants in the area.To get to this restaurant you have to take a car through some wild roads and get picked up by a golf cart... After a busy day, our group did not want to go out for dinner. We had been told that El Mirador had delivery and we decided to give it a try. Our food arrived in a surprisingly short time via motor scooter. It was still hot and was delicious. The price including tip was very reasonable and we all had... More

We stayed at Arenas del Mar for six nights and ate almost all our meals here. It was tough to try anywhere else when we constantly got great service and the food was great! Our favorite breakfast was the breakfast burrito which was made perfect and a lot healthier than it sounds. The fruit was fresh and tasted so good!... More

My husband and I arrived at 6:30 to an empty restaurant which began filling up by 7. The staff was very courteous and service was fairly quick. They have bottle service at about $12 so you can bring your own bottle of wine. My husband had the snook (I thought that was a small town in Texas). Turns out it's... More

Delicious food, excellent menu, top notch service, and gorgeous views of the beaches of Manuel Antonio. My family and I just stayed at Arenas del Mar resort. Usually we like to explore restaurants outside of the hotel, but Mirador was fantastic and we were glad to have the added convenience. The hotel's restaurant at the beach is also excellent for... One of the tops in Manuel Antonio. 5 stars gets used too often in tourist towns but this place comes close. Great atmosphere, elegant setting, great views. Highly recommended though very expensive. The hotel is excellent, also very expensive, and the restaurant won't let you down.

Top notch five star hotel place. Very very very expensive, to be expected in one of the most expensive hotels in CR. Food was very good, service too, atmosphere also. Avoid the steak as in 99% of eateries in CR unless they can guarantee it is imported--they can't. CR cattle is grass fed on the open range, not corn fed,... More
