Our hosts at the hotel plaza Yara next door suggested we go for a sundowner drink at the cocktail bar and what a great time we had! We arrived in time for happy hour so ordered cocktails and tapas for a good price and the food was great but we had eaten just a few hours before so did not... More

I am not hard to impress but this restaurant is boring, bad service, food is not so yummy and it's really far away from everything. I think the hotel thinks too much of itself. whilst there, approached by some cubans that were only for a sexual encounter rather than being friendly. surprised the hotel allows such indecencies when all you... We are truly at a loss to understand the content of this review. It is certainly out of context with the vast majority of guests who come to our La Luna Restaurant and experience what we have created. If you had made a comment to one of the owners or senior staff who are always present while at the restaurant... More

Four of us recently ate at this restaurant and were quite please with the quality of the food. We all ordered seafood that night. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and we really enjoy the trio that was playing that night. We also had very good service.

Thank you so much for taking your personal time to write a review of our La Luna Restaurant. We are so happy you enjoyed our fresh fish. WOW! This place really set the standards for non-traditional restaurants in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area- and by far the most delicious and scenic non-traditional restaurant during our entire Costa Rican visit. We had reservations here for my birthday dinner, per recommendations from our hotel. I was concerned about walking up the steep hill due to the heavy rain, but once... More

Thanking our recent guests for their wonderful review of our La Luna Restaurant. All of our guests are escorted up Gaia Mountain via gold carts as the mountain is a bit steep and long to walk. And once there, the vistas of the mountains and Pacific Ocean ore breathtaking. Come early for cocktails and tapas happy hour and sunset vistas.... More

Probably one of the fanciest restaurants in the area. Very nice meal, we were there for valentines day and they had a coursed meal option which we chose. We had late reservations but it was obvious the view would be amazing if it wasn't dark outside, I'd try to go before dark.

Yes, please do come before sunset as the views overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean are the very best in the area. We are pleased you enjoyed our very special Valentines dinner prepared by Chef Mikey. Chef creates magic in our kitchen every day of the week. We look forward to your return visit and look forward to spoiling once again. More

While we didn't have the pleasure of staying here, we did make a last minute decision to dine here based on all the excellent reviews. WOW! There truly is not a better place in Manuel Antonio. We felt this was a must given the outstanding reviews. While the sunset was beautiful and the service great, the food wasn't quite to our taste. My prawn starter and fish main were both very sweet and my partner wasn't too overwhelmed with his dishes either. We've eaten at a lot of good Michelin star restaurants in London so it's... More

It's a shame you did not like our cuisine.....as I feel it has nothing to do with nationality. Last evening there were no less than three tables of guests from Great Britain and each one enjoyed not only the dishes presented but the live music and first class service. We wished you had made this observation to your wait staff... More

Look at all the menus in Monteverde of places that arent a hole in the wall. La Luna is the best value. Service is great, golf cart rides up to the restaurant, umbrella service as needed, wait staff is great, live music, and great view of sunsets.
