Come early, in time to see the sunset and stay late. We got there around 4:30. It was very cloudy and rainy but still the sun would shine on parts of the ocean and between the clouds. Gorgeous. Shared the blackened tuna appetizer (more like carpaccio, delicious). Best mojito I've had in years. My husband was not as happy with... More

Thanking our recent guests for their very kind 5 star review of our La Luna Restaurant. All in all, they created the perfect experience. Coming at 4:30 pm to listen to the local musicians who play each night until 9 PM to enjoy tapas and cocktails and then moving to our open air dining room is the very best combination.... More

We were very lucky to be staying at Gaia so we were able to eat at La Luna a few times. Definitely try to go for sunset as there's a 180 degree view from here. The ceviche and coconut crusted mahi mahi were favorites. If you want to drink, get the Punta Catedral for a light blended cocktail made with... More

Well, we are certainly glad that you enjoyed yourselves and we trust your walk back to your room was uneventful. You are right, we have just the perfect location to view the magnificent sunsets over the Pacific Ocean in all of Manuel Antonio. Come for tapas and stay for dinner. In both cases we have live music year round and... More

Our hosts at the hotel plaza Yara next door suggested we go for a sundowner drink at the cocktail bar and what a great time we had! We arrived in time for happy hour so ordered cocktails and tapas for a good price and the food was great but we had eaten just a few hours before so did not... More

Getting there is easy via our fleet of electric golf carts. Happy hour is a favorite with locals and visitors alike. Specially priced cocktails and... More

I am not hard to impress but this restaurant is boring, bad service, food is not so yummy and it's really far away from everything. I think the hotel thinks too much of itself. whilst there, approached by some cubans that were only for a sexual encounter rather than being friendly. surprised the hotel allows such indecencies when all you... We are truly at a loss to understand the content of this review. It is certainly out of context with the vast majority of guests who come to our La Luna Restaurant and experience what we have created. If you had made a comment to one of the owners or senior staff who are always present while at the restaurant... More

Four of us recently ate at this restaurant and were quite please with the quality of the food. We all ordered seafood that night. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and we really enjoy the trio that was playing that night. We also had very good service.

WOW! This place really set the standards for non-traditional restaurants in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area- and by far the most delicious and scenic non-traditional restaurant during our entire Costa Rican visit. We had reservations here for my birthday dinner, per recommendations from our hotel. I was concerned about walking up the steep hill due to the heavy rain, but once... More

Probably one of the fanciest restaurants in the area. Very nice meal, we were there for valentines day and they had a coursed meal option which we chose. We had late reservations but it was obvious the view would be amazing if it wasn't dark outside, I'd try to go before dark.

Yes, please do come before sunset as the views overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean are the very best in the area. We are pleased you enjoyed our very special Valentines dinner prepared by Chef Mikey. Chef creates magic in our kitchen every day of the week. We look forward to your return visit and look forward to spoiling once again. More
