Sunset!

I did not have a meal here but it was excellent for sunset drinks and pre dinner appetizers. You park or take a taxi to the parking space just off the main road in Manuel Antonio and they take you to the top in their hotel golf cart. One of the top 5 sunset places. Elegant. The night I was... read more

My wife and I had dinner here yesterday evening, arriving just before sunset. Great views and wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant. Service was pleasant in a thorough formal way. The menu is in US $ with entrees quoted for the protein only between $17 to $25 ish. Sides were about $3 each. My wife and split the ceviche $12 and... More

Had a very nice stay at Gaia and ate at La Luna several times, but after our first dinner we started looking for alternatives. Service was very friendly if a little slow. Food was good but not exciting or fantastic, in our opinion, like many other reviews. Don't regret eating there but wouldn't rush back either.

If you think Costa Rican food is just average, you should come to La Luna to change your mind... This place is top notch all the way. The food was the best we had on our trip, and we went to some pretty great spots. The Ginger & Panko encrusted fresh tuna had us all drooling. Everyone loved their dishes... More

you have to see this dining room to believe it, open air, above the tree top, spacious but only seats for about 50 people, music there but not overpowering, The waiters and other staff are pleasant, friendly, focused on table service detail. Costa RIca breakfast was our favorite though omelette delight was pretty darn good. For dinner, ceviche, tuna steak,... More

The title of my review really says it all. The service was absolutely outstanding. The servers were attentive, friendly, knew when to come by the table and when to leave us alone. The food was plated beautifully and was delicious. Lastly, the live music was lovely. I read some of the other reviews which were critical of the portion size... More

There is a Ladies Group who lunch monthly all around Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. Gaia is one of the spots chosen periodically. The food, service and environment are spectacular.

I experienced La Luna first as a tourist and returned on every return visit. I have now lived here permanently for 3+ years and return at every opportunity. I attended a luncheon 2/19/2015 for 58 women hosted by La Luna and must say it was outstanding in every respect - food, staff, atmosphere! BRAVO La Luna!

It was raining the night we arrived by taxi. The moment we stepped out of the car a man was holding an umbrella over our heads and hurried us into a waiting golf cart that took us to the covered elevator entrance. When we appeared in the restaurant I think the entire staff greeted us, gave us their name and... More
