great guaro sours and tapas

Love to come for the happy hour (4 - 6 PM) for the 2 for 1 guaro sours and tapas. We ordered the chicharones, the pintos blancos, the ceviche and the whole red snapper to share with 4 people. Enjoyed it all!

We went at sunset with some acquaintances we met, to enjoy sunset at happy hour. Our party of 4 ultimately ordered 3 rounds of drinks and 2 meals. Our friends reported the hamburger and nachos were good, and the presentation was good. The view was great, as well. Unfortunately, the staff acted as if they never heard the word "service."... Just had cocktails and bar snacks--everything was just fine but the best part is the ocean view. Try to visit around sunset for a truly memorable sight. Staff was friendly and attentive.

This places is located on the top of the hill in Manuel Antonio with some pretty sweet views. As you park and walk up the stairs to the restaurant you feel a cool vibe passing through all the greenery and lush plants. The people working were quite friendly, and let me charge up a few of my devices as we... More

The food was very good and possibly a little cheaper than in many surrounding places. Service was friendly and the view was beautiful.

Very unlike anything we have experienced in the area. Maybe the waiter was just having a bad day, but he was very rude to us from the beginning. We were with 3 natives and 2 tourists, so language barrier was not the issue in getting all but 1 of our orders completely wrong. When we asked about one order for... More

I hate to give a one star review, in all of my Yelp and tripadvisor reviews I rarely find somewhere that earns it. In the interests of full disclosure I travel a lot, domestically and internationally, and generally have a relaxed attitude and think the best of most situations. So why does this place earn one star? Put simply, service.... More

We ate here for dinner, didn't know what to expect for tapas. Food was awesome and large portions! My husband and I shared the pork chicharones and tuna (raw), we shared with our son and we had plenty to eat! Our sons burger not so good. No kids menu. We had the local drink, guaro sour, they were ok, better... More

Inexpensive tapas plates. Drinks were great, very yummy and inexpensive. A great happy hour spot with the locals.
