Recommended by a local, this place has excellent local food, super fresh sushi and a very fun, friendly and quirky staff. Absolutely my favorite in Quepos and one of the few places bucking the unfortunate trend of much higher dining prices in this area of Quepos.

I can only guess Salsipuedes is ranked so low because it caters more to locals than tourists. You don't get white linens, table side service as one going to manuel antonio might expect, but this place is where you to go mesh with the local crowd, get local cuisine, and drinks strong enough to give a frat party a run... We were a party of 5, 3 adults and 2 teenagers. It was our first time on s segway and something my husband always wanting to try. It was a great experience. Miguel was a terrific guide. The highlight of the tour was interacting with the villagers on Cocal Island. Friendly people living rather primitively mear the most spectacular unspoiled... More

Our family of 10 had a wonderful experience here. We were greeted so warmly, service was quick. We all ordered something different and shared. My son, who loves trying different hot sauces from around the world, asked if they had anything other than the tabasco and he was given some of the chef's own blend. My son, loved it, even... More

This place was an amazing find! I just happened to be in the area and stopped in. They are open all day and have great breakfast and lunch/dinner. The service is great and the staff is extremely friendly. I ate here numerous times and would love to go back. The ocean view is breathtaking!

We recently returned to Cantina Salsipuedes after about two years and were pleasantly surprised to discover that time had not impacted either the great ambiance or the tasty dishes. While the menu is primarily tapas, there are are other entrees-although I would recommend sampling several of the tapas plates. The servings are plentiful and full of flavor. The staff is... More

The residents of Manuel Antonio and Quepos have chosen Salsipuedes (leave if you can) as their new favorite local hangout in the Best of Manuel Antonio & Quepos 2014. This restaurant has a wonderful blend of delicious tapas (appetizers) and a magnificent ocean view, expats and Ticos (Costa Ricans), and a friendly staff with good service. Sunsets are particularly awesome... More

Friendly service, fine and fresh ingredients, tuna was perfect. Also recommend the chorizo. For dinner and a beer about $20 pp.

Based on a friend's recommendation, we arrived for dinner just before sunset. We were on a lovely open air balcony with a spectacular view of the sun setting over the Pacific. The specialty drink was a Guaro Sour, which was pretty good. I had never eaten at a Tapas Bar, but enjoyed the experience a lot. The tuna was sooooo... More

We ate both dinner and breakfast here. The view is wonderful and the food was good too. It is a good place for a sunset beer and it right on the main road through town. Since it is on the ocean side of the building, it is quiet too.
