Its impossible to miss El Avion with the nose of an actual transport plane looming over the main road and greeting you at the entrance. Maybe you could call this the restaurant that Ollie North built. It that sparks your curiosity.....go. The food is average but the view and experience worth a visit. As for value, even a couple of... Read previous reviews dating back to 2014. Disappointed there was no update that the happy hour is no longer available. Menu prices were compareable to restaurants in close close proximity. It is free to enter the plane and take pictures which was great! Overall, food was quite tasty and the view was spectacular!

How often can you say that you has an amazing meal while sitting under the wing of a Fairchild 123 WW2 airplane! Again great service and high quality food.

We were a bit hesitant to go as people said it was pricey but that was not our experience. There were plenty of food choices like burgers and nachos for those on a budget. We had fish, with great sauces. that were comparable in price to the other main dishes at other restaurants that we visited on the trip.

view was awesome, food was meh & the price didn't reflect the lack of quality. Service was poor. Our server was disinterested & even seemed bothered speaking Spanish.

We were leaving Manuel Antonio park and drove past this restaurant, then turned around and decided to go in because it looked so awesome. There is a plane with a fun bar inside of it. When we got in, we were seated in a table with the most breathtaking view ever! The drinks were great, I had a caipirinha. The... More

My husband and I were staying at a hotel just a block away and decided to eat here our first night. We were not disappointed! When we walked up to the entrance we were took a couple pictures of the plane/bar and the waitress asked us where we would like to sit. We opted to go upstairs for the view.... More

We had a group of 21 and stopped for drinks and appetizers. Had a great view of the water and we were lucky to witness a fantastic thunderstorm from a great vantage point. The service was excellent. Reasonable prices
