Happy Birthday Celebration

This Bistro was right across from our hotel. Our tour guide had a delicious cake waiting to celebrate my 67th birthday. I wanted a frozen Margarita but their blender was on the fritz. The waiter made me a coconut margarita on the rocks with the best tequilla I have ever tasted. He put coconut... read more

My family and I went to this restaurant for 5 days in a row. They had good food and it was low priced until... the last morning we ate there they tried to cheat us $300 until we caught it on our visa. They are currently being investigated by visa so we can try to get our money back. Be... More

While shocked at the lack of food at ANY grocery store in the entire country, our family of six was amazed at the food quality here. Once we found this place, we ate three meals a day here. Breakfast included complimentary juice and a pile of fruit with the pancake platter. Lunch and dinner featured a variety of pastas, the... More

We recently were staying in Manuel Antonio and discovered this poolside restaurant. We ordered a pizza and some appetizers. The service was attentive and friendly, and the pizza was quite good with a crispy crust. I would definitely come back.

We wanted to eat here being ovo-vegetarian so we eat dairy but no eggs, and this place had no option for us - all their breads had eggs in them, even their pizza crust! We asked them if they could make something vegetarian for us, and they said they could steam some vegetables! Oh come on, a restaurant chef cannot... More

My family and I stopped in for a late pizza lunch because our villa was in walking distance. We were greeted and sat where ever we liked. Our server came right to us for our drink order and provided adequate time for our order. My family ordered two pizzas and was served them promptly. The World Cup games were on,... More

My wife and I live in the area and this was our first and last time to try this place. While it is the end of low season, as the only two people in the place for lunch, the service and food should have been spot on. We both had fish dishes and they were virtually flavourless. Presentation was good... More

Great place to stop in after a day at the beach. Use the nice pool, have a drink, watch the capuchin monkeys play, and before you know it, you're enjoying dinner! Would highly recommend for families with kids.

There are many great places to eat in Manuel Antonio - this isn't one of them. It's okay... just okay. The pizza crust was a little hard and the toppings were a overcooked. The gazpacho was very oniony.
