We stayed at Costa Verde for 3 night's over Christmas, our rate included breakfast at Restaurant Anoconda, after reading previous reviews were uncertain about what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. The setting is wonderful with views of the forest and sea, each morning we could watch monkey's in the trees. The service was excellent, it was friendly, prompt... More

We had a wonderful lunch here while waiting for our room at Costa Verde to be ready, the view is gorgeous, this restaurant I believe is only open for breakfast and lunch, the menu is not extensive, standard touristy pricing. The fish wrap was very good, the BLT was so so, I think in general the bread quality in Costa... More

We loved this breakfast restaurant, and went there twice during our week at the adjoining Hotel Costa Verde. The "tipico" breakfast was delicious and filling, with eggs cooked to order, gallo pinto (beans and rice), banana bread, plantains, and toast/tortilla. The English Breakfast was huge: our ravenous son could only finish half of it. The scrambled egg dish was also... More

Order eggs over-easy, in Spanish, and I got eggs over hard. Service was slow and had to flag down server multiple times for additional items not provided-I.e. Salt, coffee sweetener, coffee refill. I think the restraints are screwing themselves by adding in the 10%,service charge instead of working hard and allowing you to tip the normal 20%. The service level... More

This restaurant is on Hotel Costa Verde's property. First, it is a must to stay at Hotel Coste Verde if you want to see more monkeys than Manuel Antonio, and that is no joke. The view from the restaurant overlooking the rainforests and seeing the ocean is breath taking. Glenn greeted us the first day for breakfast, and was efficient... More

Once again, the views and atmosphere of the restaurant are the main features, but the food and the service are also very good. Since we went during the off-season, the restaurant was only open for breakfast. I do recommend it. It is a great way to start your day with good food and unbelievable views.

We went here after hearing about the regular monkey sightings, but alas, we must be the only family in Manuel Antonio that doesn't see monkeys all week. Zero. There was one sleeping sloth in the tree, and gorgeous views, of course. The Anaconda omelet was great, generous size with flavorful toppings. The fruit plate was awesome, with local fruit nice...
