Loved this place - especially the music

My husband and I visited Cafe Milagro twice. The first visit we only had drinks as we enjoyed live music. The drinks were made with care and fresh ingredients. They were delicious truly craft cocktails. The mojito was one of the best I've ever had. My husband loved the Costa Rican craft brew on tap. He said the Pale Ale... More

We went there for dinner. I got the steak "Lomito de Res Café Milagro". Supposed to be grilled beef tenderloin with coffee dry rub and savory espresso sauce. Although I could not taste the coffee the steak was very good. The "espresso" sauce that was served on the side smelled like tomato-based sauce ( I thought was coffee-based from the... More

We were a family of 24 visiting for a wedding. We made reservations in advance and had tables set up for at the back of the restaurant. We tried various main dishes and desserts which were DELICIOUS, the staff were very patient and friendly. It has great ambiance, and is very clean. I would highly recommend eating here for dinner.

Ate here for all three menus(breakfast, lunch, dinner) across three days. Great location between Quepos and the National park. Came here for dinner first in walking distance from hotel. The food was very good tasted fresh and the menu was very creative with its flavors. Had Pulled pork and the mango salad with the tuna special all were delicious. Drink... More

What a great place for dinner. Not some touristy place with a rip-off menu, but real food prepared with care and creativity. The owners are ex pat Americans who moved to Costa Rica to grow and sell coffee, and now have several businesses including this restaurant. Coffee rubbed tenderloin was fantastic, but so was everything else we ate. No matter... More

Thank you! We put a lot of thought into the many layers that make up Cafe Milagro and are very proud of this crazy thing that began on a whim over 20 years ago! It's an honor to be the founder and captain of something that makes people so happy (for the most part we hope!). We really appreciate you... More

The food is very good and not heavy. The staff is polite and courteous. The owner is American and the atmosphere is very nice. The drinks are good and they have a one or two man band that plays very laid back Latin music.
