great fun and yummy food! I wish that I had bought their coffee in the gift shop as I heard later that it is some of the very best in Costa Rica. We sat outside in the front and listened to the live music!

We were greeted by a cheerful waitress whose service throughout the meal was unwavering. The meal started with a complimentary ceviche of mango and cilantro that was bursting with flavor. The appetizer we chose was a wonderful corn cake and pulled pork combo. My wife had a delightful shrimp and rice dish while the mahi-mahi fish I had was the... More

We ate here twice on our stay in MA. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere with a live band each night. The pulled pork starter was lovely and it was so nice to get an "Amuse Bouche" prior to the meal. We enjoyed everything we ate and there were excellent house wines by the glass which we loved.... First stopped here one day for a drink to cool off while waiting for the bus. Came back again for lunch and loved the food. I had the fish tacos, my friends the quessadilla I think. WE both loved our choices. I would recommend them for any meal or just to have a drink to cool you off or pass... More

This was one our favorite places in the area. Breakfast and coffee were always good. We had dinner on the back patio one evening which was a pleasant surprise. We had a wonderful braised pork with Smokey, tasty, complex BBQ sauce that I will always remember. The service was good and always friendly. Highly recommended.

We had several breakfasts here and each and every one was excellent. On that basis we also went one evening for dinner, which unfortunately was a little disappointing. Not a train-crash, just nothing special. But hey, I don't think they hold themselves out to be a gourmet restaurant, and so I might be unfair in making mention... other than to... More

We took the family here two times during our 4 days. The French toast was a bit hit. The fruit and yogurt plate was very good. Service friendly and fast. They also had ground coffee for purchase which was very good back at the villa. Would like to go back for dinner but ran out of time.

Wife and I found Cafe Milagro our first of 4 days and nights. We arrived early and had to wait a few hours before checking in. We went in and enjoyed a nice lunch and it was very lovely. We went back for lunch again and also went to dinner on our last night. The food and drink were all... More

We really enjoyed our daily breakfast at Cafe Milagro. They served beautiful coffees and had delicious banana bread and carrot bread. The banana macadamia pancakes were delicious. The first morning, my daughter and I both ordered the fruit plate (which is quite large). We didn't finish the fruit and didn't eat any of the papaya since we don't care for... More
