Very good seafood

It's a bar atmosphere in a wonderful location. The fresh fish is the way to go. We were pleasantly surprised to find I nice sushi bar within!

Ribs are good. Salads very generous. Service impeccable. Seemed like a place for locals. Overall, a good experience.

Just steps from Buena Vista Villas - Barba Roja restaurant is pirate-themed, good food, and quite possibly the best service we've ever received anywhere in Costa Rica. Greeted at the door, escorted to a table with a great view, and served great food in a very fun atmosphere.

My Dad had the special of the day. Fresh tuna. Amazing! The best tuna I have ever had. I had a grouper burger that was very good. They also served sushi which looked great.

We had a good meal at Barba Roja. The service was excellent, the food was good, and the open air ambiance was joyful.

My children both ordered the pulled pork sandwiches and raved about them. In fact, they took the leftovers back to our room so they could have it for breakfast the next morning! The portion... More
