Went there Tues. night for dinner. The special board said 2 for 1 burgers; tried to order that but the waiter said that was only until 6:00? (it would be nice to say that on the sign). We ended up with wings (very good) , salad and burger. The highlight of the night was that they had draft beer; this... More

Our group of 6 made the jaunt to Barba Rosa's for the sunset view while dining. This was a great decision. Barba Rosa's has friendly employees, really good food, good happy hour specials, and superb sunset views. Mix these 4 items together and they combine for a wonderful evening. Arrive early, enjoy the food and drinks, admire the sunset and... More

It was pretty hot and humid the night we were here and there wasn't much of a breeze if any at all. Like most of the restaurants we saw in Manuel Antonio, Barba Roja's is open air and so is quite subject to the weather. There were only a few choices on the menu plus a couple of specials, but... Barba Rojas has a chef from Hermosa Beach, CA. He's amazing. The menu has a lot of diversity. Good music and a popular spot for dining.

Good wait staff and the view over the ocean makes it especially nice for a sunset dinner. We weren't the only patrons taking lots of photos of each other bathed in the purple glow of the dying sun. Very romantic!

Casual hotel with good food very close to Tulemar bungalows. Service was great and we got there just at the end of happy hour so they gave us the happy hour special. They had steak specials which my son loved. The fish special was good and overall service was nice. Would go back. Closed on Monday

This is a great restaurant to take in the sunset. Very friendly waitstaff. Food was good and nice ambiance. Open air and busy, festive vibe. I advise arriving by 5 for a good table to view the sunset. We went two times during our stay.

We went for sunset when they have a happy hour (2x1 for specific cocktails)...they were generous with alcohol in our cocktails and they tasted great! We ordered chicken nachos, it was yummy and portion size was good for two to share. Too bad we didn't try wings, I read all good reviews about it now! Sunset looked amazing and our... More

I have had thousands of chicken wings from every where in the world and these are the best!! Go for the house sauce, quite spicy with a bit of sweet and smoke. Amazing!! The wings themselves are big, meaty, tender and cooked perfectly. No flour as this girl can't handle gluten. The nachos are again the best I have ever had.... More
