Loved it!

Fun place with a great seating area. We ate here for dinner and dessert one night, then came back for dessert and drinks the next night as we loved the Mud Pie. Casual and relaxed atmosphere. My wife ordered nachos and I got the vegetable sandwich. We were very surprised by the quality of the ingredients and the depth of flavor in each of our dishes. Not to mention, a fabulous view of the sunset for our last night in Costa Rica!

4 adults and 5 children show up in the pouring rain. The place was packed and yet the staff set up two tables on the stage to accommodate us. Candles, lightening, great wine and wonderful food all made for a perfectly magical night in Manuel Antonio!

Just returned from a weeks stay in Tulemar. We tried to hit as many restaurants as we could. Our surf instructor recommended this place and I am so glad he did. The first time I had the fish sandwich and it was the best I have ever had. Topped with fried avocado, onions, and a great sauce. One daughter had... More

Food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. Service was slow but not because it was poor...just Costa Rican time. Our server was nice and attentive.

This restaurant is somewhere between average and very good. The atmosphere is neat. I think if you order seafood it is very good - my husband's tuna was delicious. Unfortunately, my chicken was not. It was so salty that it was pretty much inedible. If you could get a small forkful that wasn't full of salt, the flavor seemed good... More

I went to the Barba Roja with my best friend for a goodbye dinner after our 14day trip through Costa Rica and it was the perfect finish. The waiter was very polite and mindful. The food was of good and fresh quality! Especially the dessert (coconutpudding bread) was awesome! A perfect finish! I would love to have the recipe! Thanks... More

This place must be the Cheers of Manuel Antonio. There were not very many tourists but we didn't feel out of place amongst the locals. It seemed everyone knew each other and greeted them with a hug and a smile. We cam on a night that there was a burger special and it was super delicious and piled high with... More

Ordered a few items off the menu and was pleased over-all with everything I ordered. The rest of the table too was very pleased. Attentive staff and good food overall.
