We went as a party of five and we all had various seafood, from snapper,to tuna, to mahi mahi. It was all outstanding. We then ordered the banana flambé to top of our meal...amazing! If you get a chance to visit Ronny's you need to order their sangria a...OMG!

We went to Ronny's place for a couple of drinks and to see the sunset. We ordered the coco loco special drink. It. Ones in a coconut, which is cool, but there was no room for the drink. It was about the equivalent of a small kids cup of a drink. We also ordered a picture of the guaro sour.... More

So when I look at the ever trusty Trip advisor for restaurants I normally read the most recent ones and then the worst ones. I made sure that nobody ordered the whole snapper, just in case. Most likely not an issue, but with so many other choices why chance it. We started off with the chips, salsa, and guacamole. All... More

Our food was fine, service was fine, everything was fine. But nothing really stood out. Well off the highway, taxis charge a premium to come here, and the view, while nice, is actually no better than that of Creo Que Seafood or Barba Roja or other places along the coast. In short, not bad, but we probably wouldn't return.

If you are in Manuel Antonio you HAVE to go to Ronny's Place. It's off the beaten path. Has great views of the ocean...breezy. The food and drinks were awesome! My siblings ate here one evening during our reunion in July 2014. Really enjoyed the grilled tuna and sangria. The atmosphere, cool breeze, and beautiful sunset over the ocean from this mountain top, charming restaurant were wonderful.

This place had some bad reviews recently but we went anyway because a local told us those reviews were not accurate and that there was actually a virus that was going around the area at the time people wrote reviews blaming the food here. What a cool spot. It is tucked away with a beautiful view. We walked in to... More

This place does not have the best tropical sangria as advertised. We ordered a salad, surf and turf #1 (filet and shrimp), and spaghetti, it took over an hour to get our food. The filet was ordered medium and was delivered rare; the mustard sauce on the shrimp had wayyyy to much mustard seasoning; the spaghetti was very bland and... More

We went to Ronny's based on a recommendation. We went our last night so we could enjoy the sunset. The location is good for a sunset, but it is quite a hike from the main road. Take a taxi if you can. The food really wasn't that great. My parents got the shrimp burrito, which they both liked but the... More

Last night we spent a night for dinner out at Ronny's to have some variety in our visit to Costa Rica. This was a recommendation for us by the concierge at the Gaia hotel. It was a slightly rainy night, and we were a little weary of the path leading up to Ronny's place. It was an old, rocky, steep,... More
