AMAZING view of the sunset!

Our taxi driver we had pretty much all week recommended we came here to watch the sunset one night and we weren't disappointed. It was breathtaking! We only had an appetizer so I can't really speak for the food but the drinks were good. We split a pitcher of sangria and it was good but super... read more

i am so glad I found this place. The whole experience makes it memorable. It's off the beaten path on a bumpy, dirt road. The road makes you wonder where you are headed and then around the turn, Ronnys appears. An open air restaurant with plenty of seats facing the ocean and the spectacular sunsets. Pitcher of Sangria and an... More

Best view of the sunset overlooking the ocean. Great views! Get the pina colada. It comes in a hollowed out pineapple and is by far the best drink I have ever had! It was truly amazing. The food was fine. I had nachos, but can't say enough about the atmosphere, view and drink!! GO!!

Per a Lonely Planet recommendation, we decided to head to Ronny's to catch a drink and give our sunburns a break from the sun. We drove up a long dirt rode and arrived to a casual, mountaintop restaurant. We were the only ones there (around 3PM). We each got a couple of drinks and enjoyed the ocean views away from... More

Ronnies is off the beaten path, but worth the short drive. The best sunset views while enjoying cocktails and appetizers. We stayed for dinner....also recommended. Good food.........excellent service staff .

Ronny's Place is renown in Manuel Antonio for its splendid view at sunset. We were told to arrive early (an hour before sunset) and it was sage advice. The food is simple, straightforward mariscos, in other words, seafood. The attraction is the view. There are several concrete tables set on the hillside or avail yourself a seat in the restaurant... My wife and I had dinner here after a long day on the beaches of Manual Antonio. The waiter was exceptional, I don't recall his name. A young man, I am thinking, Alfredo but not sure. The food was fantastic and the hot sauces were en fuego!!! Very enjoyable!!

All the employees of our hotel and our taxi driver raved about this place and its sunset views. I won't deny the view is nice, but the food was just average. We ordered ten coconut shrimp with two sides each, one pina colada, and a bottle of water and it was almost $60. We ate at other places that had... More

I feel incredibly fortunate to have found and enjoyed Ronny's Place. About a week into my travels through Costa Rica I realized the importance of asking locals for suggestions of what to see, eat, and do in general. Ronny's Place was suggested to me by a woman I purchased a t-shirt made out of bananas from. The t-shirt was soft,... More
