go native at Nativo

a bar where one can wear swimmers - very laid back - very easy going - good drinks and nibbles and a place to while away a few hours once the sun has done its best to give the body a golden glow - Nativo adds to the glow on the inside....

Nativo became our main restaurant/bar while we were visiting Mal Pais. We stopped in for amazing, fresh lunches many days and had dinner and drinks there other nights. The staff were welcoming and friendly and you can't help but have a great time when you are there. The ceviche is the best in town and the plantain chips make the... More

Amazing place for lunch or dinner. Everyone can find something they will like on this menu and the portions are huge! Ceviche, tacos, pulled pork sandwich were all amazing! For anyone looking for a Caesar to drink......probably the only place you will find the real deal! Big shout out to Steven for the great food and good times at the... More

We came here for drinks one night and came back for lunch the next day and watched the soccer game. Good food, service and drinks! Fish fingers, street tacos were great! Good music playing. Owner stephen was super pleasant and friendly! We are hitting this place up again when we are back in town!!!

for a place with typical bar food, this dish was really, really good. very fresh dorado ceviche with delicious patacones. don't miss it! skip the calimari. it was like a bad onion ring!

Not much to say. You want to go to a bar, have some drinks, eat some wings, burger, or nachos? Well, this is the place. Its not going to win a James Beard award for excellence but it is a bar, with typical bar food. Some pretty good nachos if I do say so myself. Huge gringo crowd so feels... More

Open aired bar with several flat screened TVs. Decent bar but the food was terrible. Hard to mess up a Quesadilla.

Nativo is the best place to watch any sport game or surf video while enjoying a cold drink and good food. The service is good.

Staff was great and the drinks were cold. Jose the bar tender is a great guy. Great place to go if it's raining or anytime. Been to mal pais many times and I always stop in this place.
