Great Tico Breakfast

Excellent breakfast and traditional tico food, prices are the same everywhere in Santa Teresa, pricy but food is delicious.

The family owns a fishing boat that they charter for tourists, and the family soda used to focus on fresh seafood. Soda Piedra Mar originally was located right on the beach in... More

Portions huge, food amazing. Fish is the freshest. Sad that it wasn't located next to the ocean. Heard the state took it down, because it was too close to ocean edge. Who knows.

A great soda but pricy compared to la comida tipica. Great arroz con mariscos. The fries are homemade.

Its now located hillside with no ocean view and as we arrived there were no guests - just the owners family. We decided to do a trying and ordered cassado pescado. If... More

Good typical costa rican fare and appropriate prices. I had the beef in sauce casado and the flavor was great. Didn't find the wait to be unreasonable as som e of the other reviewers noted. Although we did have to hunt down our server to get our bill at the end of dinner. Good was solid, price was perfect. Unfortunately... More

The location was good, the food just okay. I only had dollars to pay, which is normally not a problem in places like this, but they cheated me on the exchange rate. She made up some lame excuse and I wasn't really in the mood to fight about it.
