The food was good, fast. Service was excellent. Quick, friendly helpful. We were there for breakfast on the way out of town. They have coffee to go, but be wary, the cups leak after a while, so don't leave them in your cup holder all day.

Prepared on site. Informal dining for the lunchtime crowd and in between coffee breaks. small interesting menu of sandwiches/wraps. Seems popular with locals and area tourists alike.

We had interesting sandwiches and really wonderful iced tea (that's something I've never commented on before!). Everything was excellent. We didn't try the sweets from the display case but they were very tempting. Highly recommended.

Went here for dinner with three friends and we loved it. The staff is very friendly, the pizza was delicious. The ceviche, while very tasty was nontraditional and didn't seem like not very much fish for the price. The atmosphere is quite lovely, and the pastries looked great although we didn't have a chance to try it out.

My favourite breakfast place, with friendly staff who allowed/ encouraged me to practise my Spanish. Wifi and all fresh foods and baked goods. Juices made to order and good coffee. Also monkeys in the trees and birds that if you aren't careful will steal your food, the bird steals sugar packets from the table.

The atmosphere is wonderful, when it is not brimming at the seams with people. It is difficult to enjoy yourself during breakfast rush hour with kids climbing over your table and the staff is so busy running around constantly. However, there is a reason it is so crowded- the pastries are delectable, and the coffee is good. It is a... More

I came to Santa Teresa and end up staying a month. It's a town with good people good surf good vibes, and the The Bakery was where the day started! I have a slight addiction to coffee, and there's was the best. Also the variety of baked goods was amazing and all of them are good, trust me I tried... More

I am not sure where these 5 star reviews come from. If I lived there and never traveled outside Costa Rica, I too would give it 5 stars. But compare it to a highly reviewed bakery in a major city, and it's just okay. Make sure to ask a lot questions because their black board indicates food that is only... More
