Right on the Beach

Good fish tacos although we have had better. OK margaritas, nothing special. It was awesome to sit on the stools at the counter and be able to eat while only twenty yards from the ocean at high tide.

I always like to start positive so I'll say that the location is nice. Set on the popular South Beach area of Jaco, this small Soda should not even be considered a restaurant. Place is nice to have a beer and watch sunset but that's about it. Everything is over priced. Breakfast for over $10 for over fried eggs and... More

We stopped for a snack and a drink. We asked if they had any salsa that was less spicy for our 3 year old and were told we had to pay extra....fine...but when we went to leave I asked for change so I could leave what I felt was an appropriate tip and I literally saw one of them giggling... More

The Point bar has not only the best margaritas in town but has a memorable view of sandy Jaco beach and the Pacific. The staff is very friendly and gave us a ton of places to visit while in Jaco. Great food and great location. We did not stay in the connected hotel, but heard from guests and locals that... More

This place has become one of my favorites! The staff is so wonderful, they treat you like family. The breakfast tacos and mango smoothie are a must do for breakfast, and the fish tacos for lunch or dinner!!

Great bar/restaurant on the beach. Bar counter and stools facing the ocean. Food is on the pricier side for what it is (plates include casado, quesadillas, tacos, burgers in the $6-12 range. Mixed drinks $6+, beers $2 at happy hour), but who cares when you're taking in the sunset over the water?

Pancakes that reminisce of banana bread spices, real bacon and excellent farmer sausage patties, and enough real hash browns to blend two perfectly fried eggs into. And artisan toast (not white bread!) already buttered. And better than resorts nearby coffee. Lady that looks like a mother figure smiling away right there concocting meals.

We visited earlier this year and my complaint back then was that the staff was not very friendly. (I also felt that there were a lot of fake reviews but I've come around to understand that the TA reader needs to be smart about what they read....) Anyway, the staff was nicer this time around. They went out of their... More

If you want to have a drink right at the south end of Jaco Beach, this is a good spot. We didn't eat there and found the drinks expensive. Finding our way back to Jaco on foot was an adventure and we ended up cutting through Captain Morgan's which looked okay.
