Great Food 2 Start the Day

A friend & I started our day with home made breakfast at "The Coffee Shop" located next to the Mango Surf Shop in Jaco. All the wheat bread & pastries are made right here in "The Coffee Shop" owned by a Canadian. The nice smell of freshly baked bread & cinnamon rolls can be smelt from the sidewalk... read more

My family had Pancakes, I had Eggs over easy in the American breakfast. This place has the best toast I have ever had in my life. The owner is super cool and really makes you feel like your having breakfast in your parents house. It is the best place to start your day. Great service, friendly, incredible quality food. A... Brother and I stopped in for breakfast one day and lunch later that week. Sandra, sweet Canadian lady, makes her own delicious bread and does a great job with typical Tico fare or simple American breakfast. Service was friendly, personal, but not obtrusive. They remembered our names from our first visit to the second. Comfy, small, off the street but... More

I know it sounds minor but their toast was so yummy!! We ordered an extra serving because it was so good and we all wanted more. All the food we got was very fresh & tasty. The waitstaff was super friendly too!

Two of us stopped for a light brunch & to take advantage of their free wifi. I had a delicious cinnamon roll, home-made with real butter & dried cranberries. My Sis had a grilled cheese sandwich, featuring home-made bread. She said it was yummy! Nice staff & owner.

This small shop has excellent coffee, expresso as well as hot and cold blended coffee drinks. We stopped here more than once and got something different eaxh time. Never a disappointing coffe drink here! Prices were reasonable, accepted cash (USD or colonies only).
