What a great introduction to Costa Rica foods! Content of the tacos could be customized to your preferences - battered & fried or grilled. The swings at the bar were a real hoot.

So cool, you can eat on swings and the food is brought to you around the bar. I would highly suggest getting something that includes the salad bar as that was the key to making the tacos pop. Shockingly the chicken parm taco was FANTASTIC.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Jacõ. The tacos and burritos were great. The Pinã Colada is a must. Fun atmosphere with swings for chairs at the bar.

Such great food for such amazing prices. Many varieties of taco meats and sauces and add-ons plus other things. A great stop during shopping or a break from the beach. Should not be missed in Jaco.

Awesome salad bar. Quality ingredients. Very fresh. Affordable. The service is very friendly and reasonably fast considering it's often packed.

If you ever make it to Jaco Beach - a must place to get a good meal at a decent price. Nice place; tucked away from the main street (75 meters). You order your own food-they bring it to you-then you fix your own plate from there (salad bar). We've been there twice and will go again if time permits.

The smooties are great, their specialty (fish tacos) are a must. All you can eat salad bar included with most meals, that's a nice plus. Lovely little locale. They do not charge the service tax, and the prices are quite reasonable. Tip: if ordering more than one taco, ask that they put them on the same plate, otherwise they'll charge... More

My husband and I love fish tacos and we were not disappointed at the TacoBar! We ordered the Mahi Mahi and red snapper beer battered tacos and piled them high with all the fixings from the "salad/toppings" bar. We each ordered 3 but should have ordered only 2 each since they put 3 pieces of fish in each taco.
